Ramadan has arrived, a blessed month eagerly awaited by every Muslim around the world. Besides being a holy month for Muslims to increase their worship, this month also provides a good atmosphere and opportunity to hone oneself to be more patient, disciplined, and productive.
For students, Ramadan often presents a challenge in managing their ego and academic activities. However, fasting is not a burden that can hinder students' learning activities. With a healthy lifestyle and good time management, students can start the new semester while maintaining their productivity in worship.
To foster a spirit of learning during the fasting month, students can engage in the following activities:
-
Set a Daily Schedule
During fasting, students must wisely allocate their time. One method that can ease self-scheduling and time management is through detailed to-do lists. Not only can it help manage time well, but to-do lists also enable students to prioritize their tasks.
-
Maintain Physical Health
Physical health is crucial during Ramadan. Make sure to get enough nutrients at suhoor to provide the body with the energy needed for daily activities. It is also important to limit suhoor meals to moderate portions and avoid overly spicy or cold dishes to prevent side effects that may disrupt your health while fasting. With enough energy, the brain and body can work optimally, thus enhancing productivity.
Additionally, students are advised to avoid activities that require excessive physical effort during Ramadan. This is to maintain the body's condition so that it does not tire quickly, especially during lecture sessions.
-
Get Enough Rest
With varying class schedules, students must maintain their stamina to stay focused during lectures. As sleep time is reduced by suhoor and preparation activities, make sure to get enough sleep during Ramadan. With adequate sleep schedules and suhoor intake, the body will have the energy to carry out activities until iftar.

Furthermore, by engaging wholeheartedly in activities, students can cultivate integrity, which allows them to complete tasks well while maintaining a sense of wholeness and heart during academic activities.
