Emphasizing the Spirit of Research and Innovation of UNDIRA Lecturers: LRPM Holds DIKTI Grant Coaching Clinic 2025

Friday, February 21, 2025 - In order to improve the quality of proposal writing and the implementation of DIKTI grant research by lecturers at Dian Nusantara University (UNDIRA), the UNDIRA Community Service Research Institute (LRPM) also held a DIKTI Grant Coaching Clinic 2025 titled “Tips and Tricks to Win the DIKTI Grant 2025; Now It's Your Turn to Achieve It." The coaching event was held in the Auditorium on the 6th floor of Dian Nusantara University, Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta, featuring a speaker who is also a Professor at Trisakti University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Astri Rinanti, M.T., IPM., ASEAN, Eng.

Dr. Ir. Muhammad Hanafi, M.B.A., IPU, as the Director of the Community Service Research Institute (LRPM) UNDIRA, revealed that nine research and community service proposals made by lecturers had received positive evaluations, leading to opportunities for DIKTI grant funding in 2024.

He continued that due to this success, the Rector of Dian Nusantara University, Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi, had approved the establishment of a flagship research system based on multidisciplinary research involving students, with a budget allocated. This will open collaboration paths between companies and serve as a medium for implementing Community Service (PkM).

If lecturers are late in submitting research proposals or if the research is in the form of prototypes for technical departments, LRPM UNDIRA also provides options for lecturers to join the fast track program where they can submit reports while already presenting research product results. This is done as a form of verification during Monitoring and Evaluation.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Astri Rinanti, M.T., IPM., ASEAN, Eng. continued by delivering material related to various strategies to improve the accreditation quality and education of educators, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in article creation between researchers and partners. This step facilitates research collaboration that makes it easier for both parties to gain publicity for the research carried out.

Furthermore, she emphasized that due to the collaborative cooperation conducted between researchers and partners, there will be administrative support. The regulations for distributing administrative support will be in two forms: in-kind (research assistance in the form of facility provision or data that can be used) or in-cash (monetary assistance). Adjustments will depend on the type of partner collaborating with the researchers.

Additionally, other factors such as the involvement of development areas (depending on the existence of partnered development villages), target partners, student involvement, entrepreneurship development (related to the development of the University's flagship products and also development villages), the urgency of research involving problem formulation sharpness and innovative problem-solving approaches, and the recap of total intellectual property and publication relevance can enhance the overall SINTA Score for researchers and potentially increase publicity that proves the research conducted holds value.

It is hoped that with the refreshment session as the beginning of the coaching clinic that will continue in the future, all UNDIRA lecturers are ready to maximize their research output effectively.
