Enhancing Educational Technology Competence, UNDIRA IT Directorate Holds E-learning Training

Jakarta, February 20, 2025 - In an effort to raise the standards of competence and mastery in online learning, the IT Bureau conducted E-learning training for non-permanent lecturers for the 2024/2025 academic year. The event was held in the 6th floor hall of Dian Nusantara University Tanjung Duren and was attended by new lecturers of UNDIRA. Also present at the event were representatives from the Academic Administration Bureau (BAA), the Human Resources Bureau, and the Financial Administration Bureau (BAK) to deliver their respective presentations.

The event was attended by the Director of Information and Technology UNDIRA, Mr. Giri Purnama, S.Pd., M.Kom., and was attended by the Head of the Sub-Division of Information and Technology Bureau, Agus Prasetyo, S.Kom., the Head of the Sub-Division of Human Resources Bureau, Athiyyah Nadiya Rianti Mutiara, M.M., and the Head of the Sub-Division of BAA, Mr. Imam Mulya, M.Kom.

The training was opened by the Head of the Sub-Division of Information and Technology Bureau, Agus Prasetyo, S.Kom., who stated that this event not only aimed to educate lecturers but also included on-site training sessions to help them master the SISKA system and UNDIRA's online learning mechanisms.

The first session was filled with presentations regarding various regulations as a way to orient the new lecturers of UNDIRA's learning system. The segment was presented by the Academic Administration Bureau and the Human Resources Bureau. Dian Nusantara University offers two types of lectures: Face-to-Face - Virtual, held at the Tanjung Duren, Greenville, and Cibubur campuses, and the E-Learning method, which can be accessed online through the website kuliahonline.undira.ac.id and Google Meet.

Mr. Imam Mulya., M.Kom., Head of the Sub-Division of BAA UNDIRA, added that Dian Nusantara University has a lecture system that can be accessed by students and lecturers through the Kuliah Online UNDIRA website. The website includes values such as E-Learning Tutorials, Online Lecture Guidelines, Online Class Registration Guidelines, and the E-Learning Lecture Calendar.

Furthermore, as a support for teaching and learning activities, the Academic Information System (SISKA) provided allows for the integrated recording of various lecture data, including lecture materials, assessments (mid-term exams, final exams, and final assignments), as well as student attendance, assignment materials, and quizzes.

The Head of the Sub-Division of the Human Resources Bureau, Athiyyah Nadiya Rianti Mutiara., M.M., then added some details about the lecture implementation system that lecturers must follow. During the even semester, there are a total of 16 mandatory meetings. Of these 16 meetings, 6 must be conducted through Google Meet. In addition, compensation will be provided to each lecturer in the form of an honorarium.

Following the technical material presentation, the Information and Technology Bureau also provided hands-on training on how to access and use the SISKA UNDIRA system for new lecturers, guided by the Director of Information and Technology, Mr. Giri Purnama, S.Pd., M.Kom. It is hoped that with this E-learning training, lecturers will be able to utilize the system as optimally as possible and in accordance with UNDIRA's SOP.
