Jakarta, November 9, 2024 – To support the development of micro-enterprises and strengthen the competencies of Independent Workers, Dian Nusantara University, in collaboration with the Ministry of Manpower (KEMNAKER), launched a training program for Beginner Independent Workers (TKMP). The training was held at Dian Nusantara University's Greenville campus in West Jakarta and was attended by numerous micro-enterprises (MSMEs) from West Jakarta, including entrepreneurs in the food, beverage, and crafts sectors.

This program also serves as a Community Service activity and an embodiment of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, aiming to provide local communities with essential knowledge and technology. On this occasion, the TKMP mentors, including Mr. Eriklex Donald, Ms. Desi Ramayanti, Mr. Rengga Sendrian, Mr. Zainal Arifin, Mr. M. Faruq Abdullah, Mr. Lutfi Alhazami, Ms. Lina Giantari, Mr. Anton Kurniawan, Mr. Achmad Tarmizi, Mr. Izmirta Rachman, and Ms. Wenny Desty Febrian, were tasked with giving guidance to the TKMP participants.

The registered MSME participants received guidance from instructors who are lecturers at Dian Nusantara University. The training covered essential business mechanisms, including the process of obtaining a Business Identification Number (NIB), developing business ideas, and managing daily cash flows.

Beyond providing effective business management techniques, the event also offered TKMP MSME participants the opportunity to showcase and sell their selected products through the Entrepreneur Corner.

By gathering TKMP participants, the mentors hope that attendees will be equipped to manage their businesses effectively, enabling them to organize their business operations, finances, and daily cash flow.
