UNDIRA Home in (NBO) Brief Discussion of Internship Programs and Job Opportunities to Germany with the

Looking for work abroad has certainly become the target goal of the youth of every country, and of course this is due to various reasons. Moving abroad is also an opportunity to learn to be independent. It involves overcoming challenges such as new habits, a different language, and an unfamiliar environment, all of which can help one grow and develop as an individual.
One of Dian Nusantara University's Religious Programs, Ngaji Bareng Online (NBO), was built or initiated by the vice-rector for field 3 of Dian Nusantara University Dr. Ir, Muhammad Hasanuddin Thoyieb. This program does not only discuss religion, but there is something called "Home" where this homepage is a session for sharing life experiences and knowledge from various disciplines. In Home, NBO invites educational figures and practitioners who already have experience in their respective fields.
On this occasion, the NBO program invited the Indonesia-Germany Foundation to discuss internships and job vacancies in Germany, looking at labor cases in Germany objectively as well as vacancies and job opportunities in Germany. as speakers this time were and Dipl,-Ing.anis Daud (Executive Director of the Indonesia-Germany Foundation) held online Friday, April 5, 2024.
In the presentation of the two speakers said that the opportunity to intern or work abroad also provides an opportunity for someone to learn about a culture or the unique geography of the destination country. In some countries, freedom of thought, speech and expression can be more valued than in their home countries. Moving abroad provides an opportunity to live in a more open environment.
From an economic point of view, the opportunity to work abroad also provides wages that tend to be more promising. For some people, migrating abroad also means improving their quality of life. They seek safer neighborhoods, better health systems, more advanced infrastructure, and easier access to public facilities.
One concept of working in Germany is Ferienjob - an international program that provides opportunities for students and job seekers. Ferienjob is one of the pathways for job seekers from around the world to experience working in Germany.
The Ferienjob program is a relatively flexible opportunity to work abroad, moreover this program does not require participants to master German language and culture as a condition of participation. However, despite the positives of the Ferienjob concept, there are potential issues to be aware of, such as visa requirements and workers' rights.
In addition to the aforementioned, other factors such as the disapproval of stakeholders can become an issue in this Ferienjob program. The stakeholders mentioned are local government industry managers where the more people are enthusiastic about working abroad, the less human resources there are in the local sector.
Ferienjob itself is not an internship, but is part of the Job Market that is temporary and according to the needs of the time. Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology of the Ministry of Education and Culture (Ristek), Abdul Harris in Jakarta on Wednesday (27/3) said that the Ferienjob program itself did not meet the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) activities.
