Study Program Description
Electrical Engineering is one of the fields of engineering science that studies electrical phenomena that occur in a network system. The electrical phenomenon in question occurs due to the interaction of electrons in an element. This interaction can cause changes in voltage, current, or electric power. The utilization of this electrical phenomenon is widely studied in the Electrical Engineering Study Program. Therefore, what is learned is not only about the concept of electricity, but also the use, design, development of technology, to its application in everyday life.
The curriculum in the Undira Electrical Engineering Study Program - S1 provides a total of 144 credits spread over 51 courses that can be taken for 8 semesters (4 years). In the third year (semester 6) students are given the opportunity to choose one of the three specializations/concentrations offered. The three concentrations offered are:
  • Telecommunication Engineering
To study electrical phenomena that occur in telecommunications networks which have the main purpose of transmitting information signals from the sender (transmitter) to the receiver (receiver) within a certain distance.
  • Electronics
Learning electrical phenomena that occur in electronic circuits resulting from interactions between electronic components.
  • Electrical Power Engineering
Studying electrical phenomena that occur in strong current power grid systems, from generation, distribution, to consumption of electric power.
Knowledge and expertise that can be obtained from the Electrical Engineering Study Program include: understanding in the application of mathematics and physics, the ability to design a system, the ability to experiment, the ability to perform analysis, and the ability to solve problems in the field of engineering engineering.
The Electrical Engineering Study Program is managed by 8 experienced lecturers who all have a National Lecturer Identification Number (NIDN) with master's (S2) and doctoral (S3) qualifications who already have academic positions.
