  1. Description of Informatics Engineering Study Program
    Informatics Engineering Study Program is a study program that emphasizes the ability to design, develop a variety of computational algorithms (computational theory and algorithms) that cover a very diverse spectrum from theoretical and algorithmic matters to applied ones.
    The Informatics Engineering Study Program has 3 main focuses, namely:
    • Learning the theory and algorithms used in the process of designing and implementing software.
    • Learning the theory and algorithms used in the process of designing and implementing hardware systems and their components.
    • Learning theories and algorithms used as mathematical models to solve certain problems
    The curriculum of the Informatics Engineering Study Program consists of knowledge related to mathematical logic, computation, and algorithms which in their applied models are expressed in the development of computer programs.

    Vision
    “Become a trusted and professional study program with a global perspective to meet the needs of industry and entrepreneurship based on science and technology in the field of network enterprise engineer and software engineer expertise by 2030.”
    Mission
    • Organizing teaching, research, and community service for entrepreneurship in the field of network enterprise engineers and software engineers that are quality, reliable and professional.
    • Developing students' abilities and skills through various activities to meet the needs of the industrial world and continuously in the field of network enterprise engineers and software engineers.
    • Provide facilities and infrastructure to support teaching and learning processes in the field of network enterprise engineers and the latest software engineers that are appropriate to exceed the quality standards of National Higher Education.
    • Implementing effective and efficient study program management through a harmonious and productive work environment
    • Building synergistic cooperation and relationships with all stakeholders in the field of information technology
  3. Objectives of the Informatics Engineering Study Program
    • Producing graduates who are smart, noble, ethical, competent, and highly competitive and able to develop science and technology in the field of network enterprise engineers and software engineers, both at national and global levels
    • Producing superior research and innovation that encourages the development of science and technology in the field of network enterprise engineers and software engineers on a national and global scale
    • Producing community service as a result of educational and research activities in the field of network enterprise engineers and software engineers in order to help empower the community to be able to solve problems intelligently, independently, and sustainably

    • Software Engineer
      Software engineer is one of the professions in the field of information technology. A software engineer is in charge of analyzing, engineering, compiling specifications, implementing, and validating a software system design to answer a problem. In simple language has a role in software development for various purposes. For example, software for education, telecommunications, business, entertainment, and others, including software for models and simulations.

Not only software engineers, there is an increase in the number of companies opening vacancies in the IT field, with the average need increasing up to 500%.       A network enterprise engineer can earn an average salary ranging from IDR 5,000,000 to IDR 12,000,000 per month. In fact, the longer the work experience of an enterprise network engineer, the higher the salary, which is around IDR 30,000,000 per month.

      Technopreneurship is entrepreneurship in the field of technology where the skills needed are not only entrepreneurship, but also knowledge of the latest technology. This term is arguably new and increasingly popular along with the development of technology. A technopreneurship must have intelligence, be innovative, like technology, and dare to take risks. The term technopreneur is known for a startup entrepreneur or start-up business that uses technology as a business base.
      According to Entrepreneur, the technologies that are in high demand and continue to be researched are artificial intelligence, augmented reality, blockchain, the internet of things, 3D printing, big data, cloud computing, and many more.
      To pursue the technopreneur profession, you as a founder can occupy the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or executive director or other positions that are relevant to your field of expertise because usually, technology-based business development is carried out in groups.     The Informatics Engineering Study Program at Dian Nusantara University was established in 2019 and in 2 years has won trust with the current number of students being 900 students. The Informatics Engineering Study Program has human resources (lecturers) with S2 and S3 qualifications and has professional competency certification according to their scientific fields.
    In the process of learning and teaching, the Informatics Engineering Study Program at Dian Nusantara University is equipped with a Learning Management System (LMS) https://klikonline.undira.ac.id/ which can be accessed anytime and anywhere. anywhere, as well as integrated into SPADA DIKTI. Some courses are integrated with international academies such as Oracle Academy, Red Hat Academy and Huawei Academy, so that students will get an attendance course certificate and the opportunity to get international certification.

For the odd semester 2021/2022, 6 students have participated in independent study/project learning activities at Dicoding - Front-End Web and Back-End Developer, Dicoding - Multi-Platform and Back-End Application Developer, Talent Scouting Academy - The Future of IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security Analyst : Cybersecurity Analyst.
