To produce graduates who are superior, entrepreneurial, and able to compete in the industrial world, comprehensive preparation is needed. This preparation stage includes socialization or providing knowledge related to understanding competition in the business and industrial world. Skills training can also be an efficient tool to prepare individuals to successfully enter the business world.

It is proven that one can start a business with a relatively small capital as long as they have the knowledge and passion. These small-scale enterprises have a significant potential impact on the economic sector if they develop into Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). To maintain sustainable progress, innovation is crucial; creating attractive products continuously serves as an example that attracts customer purchases. This is one of the various tactics to ensure the sustainability of business operations.

Realizing the above, Dian Nusantara University (UNDIRA) again signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Wewo Kinarya Bangsa (Wewo). This MoU was signed on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Dian Nusantara University, which aims to implement collaborative education, research initiatives and integrated community service (Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi), as well as improve the quality of human resources.

The initiation of this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focuses on the development of business-ready and competitive graduates in the industrial world from Undira. The fundamental element derived from this collaboration is that Wewo provides instructional resources to educators at UNDIRA, who will then circulate them to students.

Activities to be undertaken in the near future in line with the implementation of this MoU are to orient and prepare students who are ready to enter the workforce or entrepreneurship after their graduation this year. In addition, UNDIRA lecturers will serve as instructors to give presentations supplemented with materials provided by Wewo during advocacy activities facilitated by Wewo; a strategic approach that is consistent with one of the components of the implementation of the Tri Dharma principles.

This MoU has been agreed and signed by both parties, Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi, M.Sc as Rector of Dian Nusantara University and Mrs. Dyah Ekarini Ratnaningtyas, S.H as President Director of PT Wewo Bina Karya. This MoU is a historic thing for Wewo because it can work together with the academic community in the field of entrepreneurship education and community service. Wewo also hopes that this collaboration can be carried out smoothly to build superior human resources and successful ultra-micro businesses in Indonesia.

This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been agreed and signed by both parties; Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi, M.Sc, Rector of Dian Nusantara University and Mrs. Dyah Ekarini Ratnaningtyas, S.H., President Director of PT Wewo Kinarya Bangsa (wewo). This MoU is an important milestone for Wewo because it establishes cooperation with the academic community in developing entrepreneurship education and community service initiatives. It is our hope that this collaboration can run well and contribute to building excellent human resources and successful ultra-micro businesses in Indonesia.
