Enhancing Competency and Internship Readiness: UNDIRA and Maxy Academy Host MBKM Scholarship Socialization
Jakarta, February 8, 2026 – The surge in demographic numbers has increasingly challenged workforce absorption and the availability of internship opportunities. Consequently, the development of both professional competence and specialized knowledge is essential in the modern era, particularly for Generation Z.
Recognizing the evolving relevance of academia—which now extends beyond scientific management to actively guiding student futures—Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA) held an online seminar titled "Mandiri MBKM Scholarship Socialization" in collaboration with Maxy Academy on February 7, 2026. The virtual event was attended by more than 80 active UNDIRA students.
According to the Head of the Center for MKCU and MBKM at UNDIRA, Mr. Luthfi Alhazami, S.E., M.M., this socialization session is the second installment following the success of the previous series. He noted that the Mandiri Internship Socialization with Maxy Academy does not solely focus on internship placements but also encompasses independent study programs for students.
Distinguishing it from conventional internship models, Mr. Luthfi emphasized that the Mandiri MBKM Program with Maxy Academy commences with intensive training integrated with real-world case studies. This structure ensures that students are fully prepared before engaging in specific project competencies at their respective host companies.
"This scholarship program with Maxy Academy provides significant benefits for UNDIRA students. You will have the opportunity to receive training prior to entering the professional internship environment. Furthermore, a key benefit of this MBKM program is the eligibility to apply for a credit conversion of up to 20 SKS (credits), exempting you from regular lectures during the study plan (KRS) period, subject to approval from the Head and Secretary of the Study Program," he stated.
Mr. Oza, representing Maxy Academy as a speaker, explained that as a company specialized in AI and technology development, Maxy Academy remains deeply attentive to the needs of Gen Z—specifically regarding competency and career advancement. To realize this vision, Maxy Academy has collaborated with over 300 universities and 100 industry partners.

"The presence of industry partners and inter-university networks within this internship scholarship program helps UNDIRA students equip themselves for the future. It also provides opportunities for students to exchange ideas and expand their professional networks, which is undoubtedly a strategic advantage for their career progression," he added.
The program also features a 'Demo Day' session, where students present the results of their learning and project assignments. This serves as a form of accountability and a formal assessment of their comprehension. Additionally, students participate in a 'Hackathon,' which functions as an evaluative program for their project outcomes.
Closing the presentation segment, Mr. Luthfi Alhazami opened a discussion forum featuring two UNDIRA students who successfully secured Maxy Academy scholarships, Mr. Miftahudin and Ms. Rini Sulastri, to share their experiences from the Mandiri MBKM Batch 1. Both students, who enrolled in the Digital Marketing Bootcamp, rated the program 9/10.
Beyond the opportunity to develop career plans aligned with their passions, they acquired high-demand skills such as Video Editing, Graphic Design, Professional AI Prompting, Social Media Management, Public Speaking, and Videography. The presence of peers during sharing sessions further facilitated their career development and competency growth.
As a result, both students successfully secured positions that met industry needs, demonstrating how intensive training can bridge the gap between passion and professional reality. For students who are already employed and intend to convert their credits through the Mandiri MBKM Program, they are simply required to submit their curriculum vitae (CV).

The seminar concluded with remarks from Mr. Oza, who encouraged students to utilize their university years courageously, taking the necessary steps to build a more robust professional future.
