UNDIRA Reaffirms Commitment to Quality Assurance Through Management Review Meeting for Academic Year 2024/2025
Tuesday, January 20, 2026 – Universitas Dian Nusantara has successfully convened the Management Review Meeting (Rapat Tinjauan Manajemen or RTM) as a manifestation of the leadership's commitment to guaranteeing and enhancing the quality of higher education governance. Furthermore, this meeting serves to ensure the effective implementation of the PPEPP cycle (Setting, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement), which acts as the foundation for strengthening a quality culture across all units.
The Management Review Meeting is a strategic instrument designed to ensure that all standards are consistently implemented, evaluated, and followed up through continuous quality control and improvement measures. The core materials discussed included Process Performance and Product Conformity, Stakeholder Feedback, Internal Audit Results, Risk Mitigation, Follow-up on Previous Management Reviews, Status of Preventive and Corrective Actions, Recommendations for Improvement, and Changes Affecting the Quality Assurance System.
The event took place on the 6th floor of the Universitas Dian Nusantara, Tanjung Duren Campus, West Jakarta. It was attended by the Rector of Universitas Dian Nusantara, Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi; Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs, Ir. Margono Sugeng, M.Sc.; Vice Rector II for Resources, Dwi Sapto Febriantaka, M.A.; Vice Rector III for Student Affairs and Public Relations, Dr. Ir. Muhammad Hasanuddin Thoyieb, M.M.; and Vice Rector IV for Institutional Development and Community Service, Prof. Ir. Asri Nugrahanti, M.S., Ph.D., IPU, ASEAN Eng. Also in attendance were all leaders of Directorates, Faculties, Study Programs, and Bureau-level units within the university environment.
In her presentation, the Director of the Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) of UNDIRA, Ms. Sri Hesti, M.I.Kom., stated that this Management Review Meeting aims not only to drive quality improvement but also to serve as the realization of follow-up actions on recommendations derived from previous RTM findings.
"The Management Review Meeting held today is conducted in strict accordance with Law No. 20 of 2003 regarding quality development in higher education, Law No. 12 of 2012, and Minister Regulation No. 53 of 2023—which has currently been superseded by the Regulation of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Permendiktisaintek) No. 39 of 2025. This demonstrates our compliance with the implementation of the quality assurance system at Universitas Dian Nusantara," she stated.
She further emphasized that quality strengthening must be conducted comprehensively. According to her, a higher education institution cannot rely on strength in a single aspect; it requires a solid foundation that is robust from upstream to downstream.

"Institutionally, a university must be built with balanced strength from all sides, both upstream and downstream. The 'upstream' relates to clear and consistent planning and governance, while the 'downstream' reflects the tangible results of those processes," she added.
Ms. Sri Hesti comprehensively presented various critical points, particularly regarding Audit Findings and Quality Risks, detailing specific discoveries. She also outlined Recommendations for Corrective Actions provided by the LPM to each relevant unit, alongside plans for improving facilities and infrastructure to support the overall higher education ecosystem.

These strategic steps align with the mandate of Permendiktisaintek No. 39 of 2025. This regulation affirms the university's role not merely as a vehicle for knowledge transfer, but as an institution actively participating in producing graduates who serve as agents of national development. Furthermore, universities are required to provide a tangible impact on the economy and industrial sectors relevant to the principles of Education 4.0.
Responding to the commitment and persistence of the entire academic community, as well as the performance of the LPM team—which has consistently guided UNDIRA to its current success—Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi expressed his appreciation for the various studies of findings and the solutions offered to each unit for future evaluation.
"The quality assurance process is certainly not easy, but it is the essence of continuous improvement toward achieving 'Superior' (Unggul) accreditation status. Over the last six years, UNDIRA has secured its current position thanks to the dedication of us all. However, we must not become complacent. A sense of 'constructive worry' is necessary so that we remain vigilant and continue to innovate," he remarked.
A similar sentiment was shared by the Vice Rectors and the Academic Director. They emphasized that the Management Review Meeting report must serve as a strategic guideline for all work units in enhancing institutional quality. Although improvements are implemented gradually, these steps must proceed in a structured manner to realize UNDIRA’s vision as a university that is Visionary, Integrity-driven, and Professional (VIP), as well as a trusted institution in producing a competent and superior generation.
