Self-Management and Safety Strategies Towards Prosperity: Together We Shape Ourselves for a Bright Future at Hello Campus
Jakarta, August 28, 2025 - Time flies, and the Hello Campus activities have reached their third day. On this occasion, new students of Dian Nusantara University (UNDIRA) are guided to have a vision for the future. Your future is in your hands; we all attend college, save money, strive, and take care of ourselves - so that we can all see a bright future ahead with complete peace of mind.
Through Hello Campus on this third day, all participants were provided with learning about self-management and how to orient themselves toward the future through networking development and social skills.
Through the opportunity given, Mrs. Sigit Mareta, M.Ak., shared the importance of Financial Literacy in today's era. She explained that college life is not just about pursuing knowledge, but also about managing finances properly.

FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and instant gratification are the biggest enemies faced by young people today. Through proper financial management, Mrs. Sigit Mareta hopes that UNDIRA's new students will become wise individuals in managing personal finances so they can avoid various detrimental financial traps.
According to Mrs. Sigit Mareta, financial literacy encompasses several critical aspects that students must know so their lives can be directed and protected from financial crises. She recommends that students, starting now, can manage their finances well through various financial instruments such as: investing, saving, disciplining their minds from consumptive culture, and planning future finances through good risk management.
From using the 50%-30%-20% technique to set aside personal funds to how to map budgets, she meticulously explained various money management techniques from an accounting science perspective.
"If you can manage personal finances well, I believe you can also manage company finances meticulously," she said.
Indeed, financial management is a strategic step toward financial freedom, but what if we start from a tight financial condition? Mrs. Nur Endah Retno Wuryandari, SE., M.M., answered this question by sharing tips and tricks about Entrepreneurship.
According to her, Entrepreneurship is a mindset that can be a game changer for students. In times of tight competition and increasingly scarce job opportunities, not all graduates can be well absorbed into suitable or even decent jobs.
An entrepreneur, according to her, has 3 pillars: become an opportunity seeker and look at various opportunities around you, be a flexible and creative person - an entrepreneur must be able to solve problems through creative and innovative solutions, and finally, learn to be sensitive to market share. Therefore, entrepreneurial ability becomes one of the best solutions to gradually shape the future.
Mrs. Endah Retno then emphasized that through the Entrepreneurship course that students will obtain, the entrepreneurial spirit does not need to wait until after graduation to be applied. From an early age, students can gradually build the foundation for their future business so they are ready to face the challenges of the working world with solid entrepreneurial skills.
"Start from small things, turn hobbies into profit. From problems, that's where you will gain profit!" she said.
Continuing the Hello Campus program series related to the future, the learning session continued to the Health, Occupational Safety, and Environment (HSE) segment. The emphasis on the importance of protection and safety is the right of every individual, both in the academic world and the working world.
Muhammad Aldi Ardiansyah, as HSE Practitioner at PT Sinarmas Tbk., provided deep insights into HSE implementation. An interesting fact that we may have overlooked is that 70% of workplace deaths are caused by trivial things that can actually be prevented. However, with preventive measures and mutual care for one another, it is the key to creating a harmonious life.
Through both related to the future and mitigation, plethora of enrichments from Hello Campus today is packaged with full visionary spirit for UNDIRA's new students. It is hoped that with health and safety management, the best version of each UNDIRA individual will be created.
