Ensuring Service Quality Forwards, DISPUSIP Monitors UNDIRA Library’s Readiness for Reaccreditation
Jakarta, September 17, 2026 – Quality assurance and accreditation are not merely administrative requirements or formalities. They are strategic steps toward strengthening the quality of services and the overall performance of an institutional unit. In line with this principle, the Jakarta Library and Archives Office (DISPUSIP) conducted monitoring and evaluation of the Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA) Library’s readiness for its upcoming reaccreditation, which is scheduled for September 2027.
Held at the UNDIRA Library on the Tanjung Duren Campus in West Jakarta, the monitoring and evaluation activity took place on September 16, 2026, and was met with great enthusiasm by the entire UNDIRA Library team.
According to the Head of the UNDIRA Library Bureau, Mr. Rengga Sendrian, M.Hum., the monitoring conducted by DISPUSIP is part of its library development and guidance program, which is based on the National Library Standards (SNP).
Mr. Arif Fadillah, S.S., M.Si., Head of the Development Subgroup for Public Libraries, PUPTK, and Higher Education Libraries at DISPUSIP DKI Jakarta, together with the DISPUSIP team involved in the visit, explained that there are six key areas outlined in the Monitoring Indicators that every library needs to prepare ahead of its reaccreditation period.
These areas include the availability of library collections, covering both core collections and collections relevant to each study program, as well as access through the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC); adequate operational facilities and infrastructure for both library users and librarians; service satisfaction levels; the availability of qualified library staff; the Decree on the Library Organizational Structure; and documentation related to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work programs, and library administration.
“It is hoped that as the UNDIRA Library approaches its reaccreditation period in September 2027, it will establish an accreditation team and continue its development and guidance efforts with DISPUSIP DKI Jakarta. This will help ensure a shared understanding of the new accreditation instruments and support further preparations,” he said.
Through the visit, monitoring, and evaluation conducted by DISPUSIP, the Universitas Dian Nusantara Library is expected to maintain its A accreditation, which it has consistently achieved over the years. The collaboration between the UNDIRA Library and DISPUSIP DKI Jakarta is also expected to continue sustainably, allowing every monitoring indicator presented during the visit to be prepared thoroughly and comprehensively well ahead of the reaccreditation period.
Furthermore, great expectations are also being placed on the development of the UNDIRA Library at the Kranggan Campus, which is planned to become UNDIRA’s main library in the future. The establishment of this new library is expected to serve as a source of motivation and further strengthen the culture of literacy across the UNDIRA campus community.
With these efforts, UNDIRA’s literacy index is also expected to continue showing a positive upward trend from year to year, in line with UNDIRA’s vision of becoming an excellent, trusted, and competitive higher education institution within Indonesia’s national education landscape. Keep the spirit of literacy alive.
