Jakarta, January 7, 2025 – Starting the new year of 2025, Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA) has once again achieved an academic milestone with the appointment of one of its accounting program lecturers as a Professor, based on the decree issued by the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology No. 141045/M/07/2024.

Prof. Dr. Ari Purwanti, SE., M.Ak, an Accounting lecturer who previously served as the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences at UNDIRA, has been awarded the first functional position as a Professor in the field of Management Accounting. This moment marks a historic achievement for Universitas Dian Nusantara. Prof. Dr. Ari Purwanti, SE., M.Ak is also an active academic who consistently achieves in the academic field. Most recently, in June 2023, she officially became an Assessor of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) after going through a selection process.

The conferment of the Professorial Decree took place at the office of the Regional Higher Education Service Institution (LLDikti) Region III, Cawang, East Jakarta on January 6, 2025. Prof. Dr. Ari Purwanti, SE., M.Ak was accompanied by the Rector of Universitas Dian Nusantara, Prof. Dr. Suharyadi, MS, and the Vice-Rector I, Ir. Margono Sugeng, MSc, in receiving the Decree from Prof. Toni Toharudin, Chairman of LLDIKTI Region III.

Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin also stated that in 2024, LLDIKTI had issued 73 Professorial Decrees to lecturers from various universities under its jurisdiction, in accordance with the decision of the Indonesian Ministry of Education. "The achievements of these Professors will certainly bring positive impacts to the universities and the nation of Indonesia, especially in this era of knowledge mobilization," said Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin in his speech.

The Rector of Universitas Dian Nusantara, Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi, who attended the event, expressed his pride in Prof. Dr. Ari Purwanti, S.E., M.Ak.'s achievement. "In this relatively short period, five years since the establishment of UNDIRA, we have achieved various academic and non-academic accomplishments as well as getting a "EXCELLENT" accreditation result from BAN-PT. Now, with full dedication and perseverance, UNDIRA has succeeded in producing its first Professor. This achievement is a significant step for Universitas Dian Nusantara. Through the academic achievements and commitment demonstrated by Prof. Dr. Ari Purwanti today, I am confident that Universitas Dian Nusantara will continue to progress towards a brighter future in the world of education," said Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi.

Prof. Dr. Ari Purwanti, S.E., M.Ak, expressed her pride in this achievement and the opportunity to contribute to Universitas Dian Nusantara. She also hopes that the issuance of this Professorial Decree will bring significant positive impacts to the academic advancement of Universitas Dian Nusantara and serve as a source of inspiration in producing more Professors in the future.
