On 20 July 2024, the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics of Dian Nusantara University has successfully held the inaugural Technofest and TechtokFest 2024 at Dian Nusantara University Tanjung Duren Campus, West Jakarta, by inviting students to compete and present their research findings. The event was a technology exhibition event intended for participants to innovate as a form of advancing the Engineering industry in the 5.0 era. At the event there were also several company representatives such as Bank Mandiri, Tbk, PT ASDP Indonesian Ferry, PT Adhi Karya, PT Karunia Sukses Teknindo, PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia, Tbk, and also other sponsors.

The first event was opened by remarks from the chief executive of the Technofest and Techtokfest event, Mr Boy Yuliadi, M.Kom who gave an explanation that the event was an event held and intended for individuals who studied Engineering and Informatics which involved Informatics Engineering to Civil Engineering. However, this does not close the opportunity for enthusiasts of renewable innovation to observe and take part in learning how a tool can help daily productivity and how to implement it. 

After remarks from the chief executive of the event, there was an opening greeting from the Vice Rector III, Mr. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Hasan Toyib, M. M. who explained that the Technofest and Techtokfest events were a medium for delivering creativity and innovation that would become a forum for delivering a work. Furthermore, he also said that science is not only limited to theory, but also analogises a bridge as the basis of an invention concept. A bridge that is built is not only useful for certain circles and in a short time, but will be useful in the future so that it will certainly benefit the next generation.

Proceeding from the opening remarks, there was a segment of signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and handing over the Plaque by the Vice Rector II of Dian Nusantara University, Mr Ir. Margono Sugeng, MS.c, accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics, Mrs Desi Ramayanti S.Kom., M.T. to Mr Ir. Susilo Wibowo as the President Director of PT Karunia Sukses Teknindo. 

With the completion of the opening, the Technofest and Techtokfest events were opened which were greeted enthusiastically by the seminar participants. The next segment is a review of each student's work in the UNDIRA Engineering and Informatics ranks. In this segment there are various explanations of the results of the work along with the mechanism of work. In addition to visiting each booth, students are also given the opportunity to explain their findings or work in the stage area with a presentation that has been prepared for two minutes. 

There are various variations of the category of work submitted by each group of students of the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics UNDIRA. The results of the work submitted were in the form of an application system that records stock and finances that are useful for MSMEs to Project Based Learning on traffic on Jl. Raden Inten, East Jakarta which uses data collection methods to form mastery of competencies carried out in collaboration in an effort to solve problems. 

The next segment was a presentation of material by each sponsor, starting with Maxy Academy who explained that there are opportunities available for students if they wish to hone skills related to Informatics Engineering such as bootcamp programmes; frontend development, backend development, UI/UX design. In addition, Maxy Academy also provides Pre-employment and Mini bootcamp programmes that can be followed by students.

The last presentation was an explanation by PT Karunia Sukses Teknindo. After signing the MoU, PT Karunia Sukses proposed a cooperation programme in the form of training as a form of preparation for UNDIRA students. In one of PT Karunia Sukses Teknindo's programmes, namely, Non Destructive Testing (NDT) class level 2 which is related to checking and reporting data related to QC and QA, Visual Inspection testing which functions in the application of engineering work, especially Civil Engineering students.

After all the presentations, the Technofest and Techtokfest events reached their final round. The participants who won the competition category through their work such as invention demonstration, banner design, and content making received prizes for the work that had been made. The awarding of prizes in the form of money and scholarships by Dian Nusantara University received a positive response from many participants. With this event, it is hoped that the spirit of innovation of the younger generation will be even more burning for the advancement of research and technology not only for the name UNDIRA but also for Indonesia.
