Jakarta, September 13, 2023, Dian Nusantara University Library (UNDIRA) was visited by the Head of the DKI Jakarta Dispusip Office and his staff in a series of working visit activities in the context of fostering Higher Education Libraries towards the implementation of National Library Standards (SNP). This visit is a follow-up activity after the Dian Nusantara University Library accreditation which was held in September 2022.

This activity was opened by welcoming the arrival of the Head of the DKI Jakarta Dispusip Office, Drs. Firmansyah, M.Pd. and his staff by the Head of the Dian Nusantara University Library Bureau, Mr. Rengga Sendrian, M.Hum and Vice Chancellor I of Dian Nusantara University, Ir. Margono Sugeng, Msc. in the Lobby of Dian Nusantara University, Tanjung Duren campus. In this activity, the Dian Nusantara University Library was given several directions for the sustainability of activities at the UNDIRA Library, such as improving supporting facilities for library activities, carrying out more collaborative activities with various parties such as the West Jakarta Library and Archives Office which is very close to Dian Nusantara University, with the hope of involving Dian Nusantara University students and the surrounding community so that later the services at the Dian Nusantara University Library can be used by the community at large, so that the function of the library itself can be felt by all parties. In addition, Mr. Firman also expects Librarians to be able to improve their abilities and play an active role in writing books and scientific papers which can later be used as a learning medium for the Dian Nusantara University academic community. Higher Education Libraries must also be able to synergize with students as a supporter of improving student achievement.

On this occasion the Dian Nusantara University Library also had the opportunity to show the existing special collection, namely the recording of the speech of the 2nd President of Indonesia Soeharto. This special collection has a lot of high historical value. This series of activities resulted in many collaboration ideas that are planned to take place next year, namely between the DKI Jakarta Library and Archives Office and all Higher Education Libraries in Jakarta in particular.

It is hoped that this meeting can make Dian Nusantara University Library more superior from various aspects. And with continued guidance from the DKI Jakarta Library and Archives Service, the Dian Nusantara University Library can continue to grow rapidly.
