Jakarta, May 23, 2025 – "Silat is not just movement, but the soul in motion." Once again, Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA) has proudly raised its flag of achievement through the 2025 Student Martial Arts INVITATION, held at GOR Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, from May 20 to 22.

The competition was organized by the Jakarta Provincial Office of Youth and Sports (DISPORA DKI Jakarta) with the aim of developing the potential and fostering the competitive spirit of young student-athletes, while also strengthening the bonds among higher education institutions through sports.

A total of 287 participants from 34 invited universities took part in this event hosted by DISPORA DKI Jakarta. The competition featured three main martial arts disciplines: Wrestling, Kempo, and Pencak Silat. Representing UNDIRA in the Pencak Silat category was Ridho Ramadhan, a standout student from the Management Study Program and member of the university’s Pencak Silat Student Activity Unit (UKM).

Through his unwavering dedication and strong determination, Ridho Ramadhan claimed 1st place and won the Gold Medal in the Men’s Adult Match Category, Class G in Pencak Silat—bringing great pride to Universitas Dian Nusantara.

Following this success, it has been reported that the winners of this INVITATION tournament will proceed to the selection event for POMNAS, representing DKI Jakarta as athletes.

UNDIRA remains committed to supporting student development not only in academic pursuits but also in non-academic fields through a wide range of extracurricular activities. The university provides various facilities and training programs to help students reach their fullest potential.

Ridho’s success is expected to serve as an inspiration for other students to strive for excellence in their respective fields. It is hoped that the Pencak Silat Student Activity Unit will continue to achieve success and elevate the name of Universitas Dian Nusantara, West Jakarta.
