Jakarta, September 17, 2022 – Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA) conducted the Opening Ceremony for New Students of the Odd Semester for the 2022/2023 Academic Year at two locations: UNDIRA’s Tanjung Duren Campus and Cibubur Campus.

Based on the Rector’s Decree on the Admission of New Students for the Odd Semester of the Undergraduate Program for the 2022/2023 Academic Year, Number: 01/112/A-Skep/IX/2022, a total of 2,193 new students were officially inaugurated as part of Universitas Dian Nusantara.

The event was attended by the university’s leadership, including Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi, Rector of Universitas Dian Nusantara, along with Vice Rectors and other university officials. Also present was one of UNDIRA’s founders, Ir. Yenon Orsa, MT, who delivered an inspiring message to the new students.

The opening ceremonies at both campuses were also graced by the presence of university stakeholders. At the Tanjung Duren Campus, representatives from the Three Pillars of Grogol Petamburan Subdistrict attended, while at the Cibubur Campus, the Commander of Kodim 0507/Bekasi and representatives from the Three Pillars of Jatisampurna Subdistrict were present. The Commander of Kodim 0507/Bekasi also gave a motivational speech to the new students at the Cibubur Campus.

This event reflects Universitas Dian Nusantara’s commitment to fostering close collaboration with various stakeholders to create a dynamic academic environment.

As a symbolic gesture of inauguration, alma mater jackets were presented to student representatives from each faculty by Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi, Rector of Universitas Dian Nusantara. He was accompanied by Mr. Sagoro Dharmawan, Chairperson of the Dian Asra Foundation, and Vice Rectors. The ceremony was witnessed by university officials and new students of the Odd Semester for the 2022/2023 Academic Year.

The event continued with an orientation on the implementation of E-learning, led by the Director of Information and Technology of Universitas Dian Nusantara. This session introduced the online learning system designed to support the academic journey of the new students.

This opening ceremony underscores Universitas Dian Nusantara’s dedication to creating an academic environment that is supportive and focused on advancing students’ abilities to face the challenges of the digital era.
