Still Confused? Get to Know UNDIRA’s Academic Information System (SISKA) and Its Usage Regulations
Flexibility has become a central principle across various modern industries, including the education sector. Advances in information technology have enabled the dissemination of knowledge and information to be accessed anytime and anywhere.
Within the higher education ecosystem, technological integration has been implemented comprehensively. As an institution committed to becoming a trusted and professional university with a global outlook grounded in science and technology, Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA) continuously strives to deliver optimal academic services through the utilization of up-to-date information technology systems, particularly SISKA.
SISKA, or the Academic Information System, is a structured mechanism designed to manage various aspects of academic activities at UNDIRA, serving both students and lecturers.
To access SISKA, students can visit siska.undira.ac.id. Upon entering the platform, users will be directed to the login page, where they can sign in using their Student Identification Number (NIM) as both username and password.
Students are also allowed to change their passwords according to their preferences. This can be done through the profile menu by entering a registered student email to update SISKA account credentials.
Beyond providing academic services, SISKA also functions as a repository that enables students to access essential academic information, including class schedules, course registration (KRS), study results (KHS), midterm and final exam schedules, attendance monitoring, and grade evaluation. Students simply need to navigate the available menu options to obtain the required information.

For instance, when registering for courses (KRS) online, students only need to access the KRS menu, select the appropriate semester, and choose the desired courses before saving their registration data. There is no need to print or physically submit the KRS form to academic advisors, thereby improving efficiency and saving time.
However, in its implementation, several regulations must be observed, particularly those related to academic leave and attendance.

To apply for academic leave, students must meet several requirements: they must be in at least their second semester, have no outstanding tuition fees, and may apply for leave for a maximum of two semesters. It should be noted that administrative fees apply in accordance with the regulations of the Academic Bureau.
Attendance is another critical aspect. SISKA records both online and offline attendance, and students are required to maintain a minimum attendance rate of 64%, meaning they cannot be absent more than five times per course per semester. Failure to meet attendance requirements may result in ineligibility to sit for examinations and the potential need to retake the course.
Furthermore, before participating in midterm (UTS) and final (UAS) examinations or registering for courses through SISKA, students must first fulfill all administrative requirements. Once these obligations are completed, the system will synchronize the data, allowing students to proceed with course registration and examinations.
Lastly, students are expected to maintain the confidentiality of their personal data and privacy within the SISKA system to ensure a secure and efficient academic environment.
In conclusion, SISKA UNDIRA serves not only as a solution to support transparent and efficient academic activities but also as a reflection of digital transformation in higher education governance. Students are encouraged to utilize SISKA optimally while adhering to all applicable regulations, ensuring that academic processes run smoothly, systematically, and in an integrated manner to support their academic success.
