The Dian Nusantara University (UNDIRA) Career and Alumni Development Center successfully held an Affiliate Business Seminar and internship recruitment conducted by Nu Skin Indonesia Independent Distributors. The event which took place on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the sixth floor hall of the UNDIRA Tanjung Duren campus was attended by more than 150 active UNDIRA students.

The activity was attended by several UNDIRA structural officials including Vice Chancellor II Mr. Dwi Sapto Febriantaka, MA, Head of Career and Alumni Development Bureau Mrs. Putri Ayienda Dinanti, M.Hum and Head of Student Affairs Bureau Mr. Rengga Sendrian, M.Hum. In addition, representatives from Nu Skin Indonesia Independent Distributors who were also present as speakers included Dr. Gentatiani Nanere, CN as Executive Brand Director of Nu Skin Indonesia, Ms. Devia Puspitasari, S.Ak - Senior Brand Director of Nu Skin Indonesia, and Mr. Surya Pratama, S.M., CSN - Senior Brand Director of Nu Skin Indonesia.

During the event, Mr. Dwi Sapto Febriantaka, MA, Vice Rector II, gave a speech. He expressed his gratitude to the speakers for being willing to share the latest knowledge about Affiliate Business with UNDIRA students. "We are very grateful to the speakers who have had the opportunity to present about the Affiliate Business. This will significantly increase our students' understanding of business opportunities. Ensuring that after graduation they not only have theoretical knowledge but also practical business skills gained from various activities organized by UNDIRA," said UNDIRA Vice Rector II.

This seminar event is part of the Campus Hiring #1 program, organized by the UNDIRA Career and Alumni Development Center. This program aims to provide internship opportunities for UNDIRA students and provide knowledge beyond conventional classroom education. The seminar had a special topic, which covered online business models such as Affiliate Business which is currently experiencing an increase in popularity.

Affiliate business or commonly known as Affiliate Marketing is a new marketing model. Individuals or companies (called affiliates) promote products or services from other companies (called merchants) and earn a commission for each sale or action generated through their affiliate link. Affiliate business is a popular and effective way to generate income online, by utilizing networks and marketing skills without having to develop your own products or services for both beginners and those who already have experience in digital marketing.

Before the conclusion of the series, the speakers held an internship recruitment drive and invited students to apply. Almost half of the student audience had registered, which will be further curated by Nu Skin. As interns or Student Affiliates, Nu Skin promises various benefits. Not only from the opportunity to be independently entrepreneurial, students will get training and also valuable experience to learn with professionals in their field. The event ended with the presentation of a plaque as a token of appreciation from Dian Nusantara University to Nu Skin Indonesia's Independent Distributor.
