Competition and collaboration are key elements in building personal capacity—not only in developing individual potential, but also in enriching scientific knowledge and contributing meaningfully to national progress.
This very spirit is embodied in the DIKTISAINTEK BERDAMPAK program initiated by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (KEMDIKTISAINTEK). The program aims to foster graduates who are not only knowledgeable but also creative and socially impactful through innovations that directly benefit the community.
As a concrete implementation aligned with Official Circular No. 1480/B2/DT.01.01/2025, KEMDIKTISAINTEK is organizing the National Student Competition in the Fields of Business, Management, and Finance (KBMK) 2025, which will run from June to October. KBMK is designed not merely as a competition, but as a platform for developing student competencies by adopting international standards and encouraging cross-sector collaboration with professionals and industry associations.
According to the official statement from KEMDIKTISAINTEK, this year’s KBMK brings forward a theme aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 12: "Downstreaming and Industrialization: Student Innovation in Enhancing National Competitiveness Amid Global Uncertainty within the Framework of Business, Management, and Finance."
In 2025, KBMK will include five main competition tracks:
-
Business Planning
-
Investment Research
-
Financial and Investigative Auditing
-
Commercialization of Research and Appropriate Technology
-
Scientific Paper Writing
Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA) is among the selected universities participating in this year’s KBMK. Through its Student Affairs Bureau, UNDIRA encourages all students from various departments—both from the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics—to take part in this opportunity, reflecting the inclusive and interdisciplinary spirit that underpins the KBMK initiative.
The Student Affairs Bureau also reminds participants of several important provisions:
-
Each student team must be supervised by one faculty advisor from the same university. Each advisor is allowed to supervise up to two competition categories.
-
Each team may also invite one industry practitioner relevant to the proposed topic, with the advisor’s approval.
-
Each university is allowed to submit a maximum of five teams across all categories, and no more than two teams per category.
The registration period runs from July 1 to August 4, 2025, followed by the semi-final and grand final stages held by LLDIKTI Region III in October 2025, at Multimedia Nusantara University, Tangerang. Submission of supporting documents—such as manuscripts, papers, and videos—must be completed via the official KBMK website no later than the end of August 2025.
The KBMK competition represents the inclusive and interdisciplinary spirit that fuels innovation and creativity. For UNDIRA students, KBMK 2025 is not merely a competition, but a valuable opportunity to collaborate, sharpen competitiveness, and channel innovation with real impact. The promotion of this competition also reflects the Student Affairs Bureau's strong commitment to shaping graduates who are Innovative, Creative, and Collaborative—because in this era, Collaboration is NUMBER ONE!
Now is the time for UNDIRA students to step forward and contribute to the nation. Let this competition be your momentum to think critically, innovate boldly, and become change agents for a stronger and more sustainable Indonesia!
