Opening of Even Semester FY 2023 / 2024 and Signing of Memorandum of Understanding between UNDIRA and BPJS Employment

Jakarta, March 23, 2024 - Dian Nusantara University held the Opening of New Student Lectures for the Even Semester 2023/2024 on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the UNDIRA Hall on the Tanjung Duren campus in a hybrid manner. The lecture opening activity was attended by the chairman of the Dian Asra Foundation and his staff, the Rector of Dian Nusantara University, directors, faculty deans to the chairman and secretary of the study program. Not only attended by university leaders, but also attended by several VIP guests including Prof. E.S Margianti as the Rector of Gunadarma University and Mr. Serianto as the Head of Membership of the Social Security Organizing Agency (BPJS) Employment.

The opening of the 2023/2024 Even Semester Lecture was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi. MS as the Rector of Dian Nusantara University. He symbolically pinned the alma mater to four student representatives accompanied by the Chairman of the Dian Asra Foundation Mr. Sagoro Dharmawan.

Through this opportunity, Prof. Suharyadi delivered a speech that reflected the evolution and growth of UNDIRA from its inception to the present. He clearly projected that in line with the 5th anniversary celebration, the number of new students reaching 7000 will be achieved, and he also welcomed the new students, and emphasized his hope that they can fulfill their responsibilities well and can complete the study program according to the specified time.

In line with the spirit of the event, Mr. Sagoro Dharmawan as Chairman of the Dian Asra Foundation emphasized to the students the mandatory use of 'Google Workspace' during the implementation of learning sessions. The use of 'Google Workspace' as a lecture facility can facilitate student activities in order to complete tasks effectively and run smoothly. "With the Google Workspace that UNDIRA has as a lecture facility, students are expected to use it and carry out lectures as well as possible," he said.

After remarks from the Chairman of the Dian Asra Foundation, Prof. Suharyadi cordially invited Prof. Margianti, who served as Rector of Gunadarma University and one of the founders of Dian Nusantara University (UNDIRA) to give a speech in front of UNDIRA's new students. Prof. Margianti shared her experience in building Gunadarma University, she also expressed motivation for new students who are preparing to study at UNDIRA.

Prof. Margianti also welcomed the new students and appreciated the inauguration of the opening of even semester lectures for FY 2024/2025 which was extraordinarily organized by UNDIRA. An achievement that has never happened in the history of Gunadarma University. Using the knowledge and experience gained over 42 years of commitment to building and developing Gunadarma University, he encouraged UNDIRA to make it a model of growth. This aims for UNDIRA's continued progress which now extends into the future.

In addition to the inauguration of the opening of the 2023/2024 academic year lectures, another event that was no less important was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UNDIRA, represented by Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi, and BPJS Employment, represented by Mr. Serianto as Head of BPJS Employment Participation. The main purpose of this MoU is to ensure social security protection for students of the internship / real work study program at UNDIRA - through initiatives implemented by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. This means that while undergoing an internship or real work study program, our students will have their welfare guaranteed by the state through cooperation with BPJS Employment.

Before the event was closed, Mr. Serianto conveyed a few things about BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and some of the upcoming programs offered. For the great benefits that abound, he once again invited the students to get involved with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.
