Manifesting Compassion and the Spirit of Sharing, UNDIRA Strengthens Ties on Eid al-Adha 1447H Through Qurbani Meat Distribution
Jakarta, May 29, 2026 – Behind the Qurbani tradition and the rhythm of the takbir in every Eid al-Adha celebration lies a history rooted in the story of love and devotion between Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his son, Prophet Ismail (AS). In today's modern era, besides preserving its original meaning regarding a father's love and sincerity toward his son, Eid al-Adha has also become a symbol of humanity.
The Eid al-Adha 1447 H celebration is a symbol that illuminates and fosters the values of empathy, social awareness, and sincerity. It also serves as a momentum for Muslims worldwide to elevate their devotion to Allah SWT—where the wealth we set aside for Qurbani will undoubtedly benefit those in need and bring rewards to us all.
Guided by these values, in the solemn atmosphere of this holy day, Dian Nusantara University (UNDIRA) successfully carried out the slaughtering of two cows at the TUM Petir Slaughterhouse (RPH) in Tangerang, along with the distribution of the Qurbani meat to the surrounding community on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
Committed to distributing the meat supply with the utmost integrity and professionalism, UNDIRA ensured that 300 packages of Qurbani meat were distributed evenly across three distribution points, namely: the Tanjung Duren Campus, the Greenville Campus, and the Kranggan Campus in Cibubur.

During the meat distribution session, which was assisted by the entire UNDIRA academic community, Mr. Dwi Sapto Febriantaka, M.A., as Vice Rector II, took the time not only to deliver his opening remarks but also to directly hand out the Qurbani meat to the local community.
He expressed his deepest appreciation to the entire academic community who helped realize this noble mission. He hopes that this activity will continuously bring hope to the Indonesian people, especially amidst the current economic and social uncertainties—proving that humanity still possesses the opportunity to spread kindness.
"Eid al-Adha teaches us that true greatness lies in the sincerity of sharing. May that spirit ignite in every step we take in reading, thinking, and working towards a more advanced Indonesia and our beloved campus, which continues to produce a brilliant and blessed generation," said Mr. Dwi Sapto Febriantaka.

Through this act of sharing, UNDIRA is committed to continually maintaining the ties of kinship (silaturahmi) and fostering humanitarian values amidst the moral decadence and uncertainty haunting the world today. Together we thrive, glory to UNDIRA! Glory!
