Strengthening Faculty Competence in Educational Technology: UNDIRA’s IT Directorate, and Academic Beurau Conduct E-Learning Training
Jakarta, April 3, 2026 — Amid the rapid advancement of digitalization and technological integration, the need to strengthen human resource competencies and develop more adaptive educational systems has become increasingly essential.
In an effort to enhance educational standards and equip lecturers with effective online learning management practices, the Directorate of Information Technology, the Bureau of Academic Administration, and the Human Resources Bureau of Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA) collaboratively organized an E-Learning socialization and training session for the even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. The event was held at the Tanjung Duren Campus, West Jakarta, on Tuesday, April 1, 2026.
Universitas Dian Nusantara implements two modes of instruction: a hybrid system combining face-to-face and virtual learning conducted at the Tanjung Duren, Greenville, and Cibubur campuses, as well as a fully online E-Learning system accessible via the platform kuliahonline.undira.ac.id and Google Meet.
The session was officially opened by the Director of Information Technology, Mr. Giri Purnama, S.Pd., M.Kom., who emphasized that the training aims to establish an E-Learning environment that is not only conducive for students but also supportive for lecturers.

“To foster a flexible learning environment, UNDIRA has developed a Management Information System (MIS) that encompasses Academic Administrative Services as well as Online Learning Services. These systems are designed to harmonize educational processes within Universitas Dian Nusantara. This socialization initiative is intended to familiarize both lecturers and students with the established guidelines, thereby fostering a conducive learning ecosystem,” he stated.
He further explained that the program includes on-site training sessions accompanied by practical assignments, enabling lecturers to develop proficiency in utilizing the E-Learning system while gaining a comprehensive understanding of the institution’s online learning mechanisms.
Mr. Imam Mulya, M.Kom., the Head of Academics Beurau of UNDIRA added that lecturers can access supplementary materials related to data submission procedures and grading systems through the UNDIRA Online Learning platform. Additional resources, such as the Online Class Registration Guide and the E-Learning Academic Calendar, are expected to support the alignment and effective implementation of online instruction.

Moreover, as a supporting tool for teaching and learning activities, the Academic Information System (SISKA) enables the integrated management of various academic data, including course materials, assessments (midterm exams, final exams, and final projects), student attendance, assignments, and quizzes.

Concluding the session, Ms. Athiyyah Nadiya Rianti Mutiara, M.M., Head of Subdivision at the Human Resources Bureau, representing the Director of Human Resources, Ms. Rini Padmirehatta, expressed her hope that this initiative would enhance lecturers’ technical competencies while reinforcing their role as adaptive and inspiring facilitators of learning for UNDIRA students.
