POMNAS (National Student Sports Week) is a sports competition event involving students from various universities in Indonesia. POMNAS XVIII 2023 was held to foster students, especially in the field of sports, besides that POMNAS was also held to maintain national unity, capture potential athletes, and improve sports achievements in students.

POMNAS XVIII 2023 this time was held in South Kalimantan with participants sent from 38 BAPOMI (Indonesian Student Sports Development Agency) Provincial Managers throughout Indonesia. The POMNAS XVIII event was held from November 15 - 20, 2023. At POMNAS XVIII 2023 there are 16 sports, one of which is athletics.

At POMNAS XVIII 2023 Dian Nusantara University sent two athlete representatives from athletics who also represented DKI Jakarta. Liu Ming Shen and Liu Ming Tjay are athletes from Dian Nusantara University who managed to donate silver and bronze medals for DKI Jakarta. Liu Ming Shen received a silver medal in the 800m athletics and a bronze medal in the relay athletics. While Liu Ming Tjay won a silver medal in the long jump athletics.

After getting medals for DKI Jakarta and Dian Nusantara University, Liu Ming Shen and Liu Ming Tjay received the highest appreciation from the rector of Dian Nusantara University, Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi. Congratulations from Prof. Dr. H. Suryadi is a form of appreciation given to Liu Ming Shen and Liu Ming Tjay with the hope that they can maintain and even improve their achievements to bring the good name of Dian Nusantara University at the National level. "Congratulations to Liu Ming Shen and Liu Ming Tjay for their achievements. Hopefully this is the first step to make Dian Nusantara University proud at the national level, and can provide more medals at POMNAS next year. Said Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi.

At POMNAS XVIII 2023 Liu Ming Shen and Liu Ming Tjay were accompanied by Mrs. Kornelia Johana Dacosta, M.Ikom as the Head of the Public Relations & SU Bureau of Dian Nusantara University. In addition to being the Head of the Dian Nusantara University Public Relations & SU Bureau, who is also in charge of Public Relations and Publications of the Indonesian Student Sports Advisory Board (BAPOMI).

Liu Ming Shen and Liu Ming Tjay are Dian Nusantara University students who received full scholarships for four years. Liu Ming Shen and Liu Ming Tjay are students of Dian Nusantara University, Faculty of Business and Social Sciences.
