Jakarta, October 26-27, 2023 Media Indonesia held the Language and Literature Festival for the third time since 2021. This year Media Indonesia raised the theme "Welcoming the Golden Indonesia 2045 Through Literature" This festival took place in commemoration of Youth Pledge Day and Language Month.

The festival was attended by Media Indonesia Editor-in-Chief Ade Alawi, Kominfo Director General of Public Information and Communication Usman Kansong, Head of Language Agency of the Ministry of Education and Culture Aminudin Aziz, Head of the National Library (Perpusnas) Muhammad Syarif Bando and other leaders. In addition, various writers and book authors also participated in enlivening the 2023 Language and Literature Festival. 

The festival was enlivened by various Talk Shows attended by book authors as speakers, and followed by a question and answer session. Dian Nusantara University students also participated in conducting a question and answer session at the Book Launch and Book Review of "Toko Buku Terakhir" and was answered directly by Usman Kansong as the author. Students from various other institutions participated to display their respective works.

The festival introduced various types of literary performances, ranging from book launches, book reviews, poetry readings, monologues, short stories, poetry musicalizations and traditional dances. The event features many exciting activities that promote linguistic diversity, culture and celebrate the richness of language to include a book exhibition organized by Media Indonesia. 

The Language Month Festival is a unique opportunity to celebrate and preserve the richness of language and culture, the event also provides an opportunity to increase knowledge of language and culture as it relates to literature.
