UNDIRA Successfully Holds 3rd Graduation and 6th Anniversary, Affirming Commitment to Producing 971 Quality Graduates for the Digital Era

Jakarta, November 1, 2025 - Dian Nusantara University (UNDIRA) once again marked two historic moments simultaneously, holding the events at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City, Tangerang.

Today, UNDIRA successfully held its 3rd Graduation (Wisuda) and 6th Anniversary (Dies Natalis). Under the theme "Building a Superior, Visionary Generation with Integrity and Professionalism in the Digital Era," this graduation was not just a moment of pride but also signified UNDIRA's achievement as an educational institution committed to producing graduates with Vision, Integrity, and Professionalism (VIP) to meet the industry needs of 2030.

Through its 3rd Graduation, UNDIRA successfully graduated 971 students from the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences (FBIS) and the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics (FTI).

The Rector of Dian Nusantara University, Prof. Dr. H. "The Toga worn today is a symbol of the graduates' hard work throughout their education. However, he reminded them that the real journey truly begins after graduation. In this current era of digitalization and disruption, an academic degree is not the sole determinant of long-term success. Creativity, innovation, resilience, and integrity are the true foundations that will solidify the steps towards success in the real world," he added.

Mr. Sagoro Dharmawan, as the Head of the Dian Asra Foundation, expressed his high appreciation to the graduates for their hard-earned success, achieved through hard work, perseverance, and an unyielding spirit. In his message to the 971 graduates, he reminded them that amidst the various challenges of the current digital era, every individual must be able to use these challenges as motivation to continue thinking critically, being adaptive, and acting creatively. By doing so, the graduates will possess the resilience and fighting spirit needed to face the dynamics of change and achieve future success.

The Head of the General Affairs Division of LLDikti Region III Jakarta, Tri Munanto S.E., M.Ak., attending on behalf of the Head of the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDikti) Region III, stated that a bachelor's degree is a moral responsibility and a catalyst for driving innovation, and that graduation is a moment signifying a handover of that responsibility. In connection with the 6th Dies Natalis, he considered this an important moment for reflection and evaluation in providing quality, competitive education. He also noted that since its establishment 6 years ago, UNDIRA has grown rapidly, demonstrated a strong academic reputation, and expanded its impactful contributions to society.

"Currently, UNDIRA is in typology 1, and we are confident that 'Unggul' (Superior) accreditation is only a matter of time. Happy 6th Dies Natalis, may UNDIRA always grow as an innovative and competitive institution heading towards Golden Indonesia 2045," he remarked.

Before commencing the graduation procession for the 971 graduates, the event continued with a scientific oration delivered by Dr. H. Sandiaga Salahudin Uno, B.B.A., M.B.A., who presented a speech titled "Opportunities and Challenges for the Younger Generation in the Business and Industrial World in the Digital Era."

In his speech, he emphasized that while the digital era creates challenges and disruptions through AI and machine learning, it does not override the need for authenticity and creativity. He further asserted that technology, despite its significant capabilities, is still far from replacing humans.1

"A university has now become a laboratory for us to create and innovate. A university is not merely a facility; it is a driver of lifelong learning, where the processes of upskilling, reskilling, and new skilling occur continuously so that graduates can maintain their relevance (upkeep), especially in this Digital Era," he continued.

Amidst the 3rd Graduation procession, two graduates became symbols of hope, motivation, and dedication for future UNDIRA generations: Mr. Isati Gulo, a graduate of the Informatics Engineering Study Program, and Mr. Muhammad Ibnu Ramdhani, a graduate of the Management Study Program.

Isati Gulo was officially named the university's best graduate by Dian Nusantara University, in accordance with Rector's Decree Number 01/023/A-SKep/X/2025 concerning the Determination of the Best Graduates for the 2024/2025 Academic Year. During his studies, he achieved both academic and non-academic accomplishments.

His achievements were not limited to that; Isati Gulo was also highly active in student organizations, such as serving as the Head of the Informatics Engineering Student Association (HIMA) for 2022/2023 and an administrator of the University Student Executive Board (BEM) for 2024/2025. He participated in the government's MBKM program and took part in numerous research and Community Service (PkM) activities. Furthermore, he was involved in collaborative publications with UNDIRA lecturers, earned various academic and non-academic awards, and demonstrated competence in his profession and in foreign languages.

Alongside Isati Gulo's success, another graduate, Muhammad Ibnu Ramdani from the Management Study Program, also brought pride to the UNDIRA alma mater. He is currently pursuing a career at Keylex Corporation in Japan. Consequently, his parents represented him at the ceremony to receive his diploma from the Rector and the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences.

His achievement in building a career abroad demonstrates his persistence not only in self-development but also in pursuing a career on the international stage. His career path is expected to serve as a compass for other students, inspiring them to pursue their dreams and achieve their best in the future.

The 3rd Graduation and 6th Anniversary have become symbols of pride and great hope for UNDIRA in fostering a new generation ready to contribute to the nation's progress amidst the current turbulence of digitalization and technology. With a spirit of innovation, integrity, and professionalism, UNDIRA remains committed to becoming a superior educational institution in the future.
