Reviewing Achievements and Evaluating Curriculum to Provide the Best Education, UNDIRA Holds Faculty Coordination Meeting for Academic Year 2025/2026

Jakarta, August 29, 2025 - In order to provide up-to-date information on academic developments while conducting evaluations of the teaching and learning process, Dian Nusantara University (UNDIRA) organized a Faculty Coordination Meeting. The event, held in the UNDIRA Auditorium at the Tanjung Duren Campus, West Jakarta, invited all teaching faculty from the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics (FTI) and the Faculty of Culture and Social Sciences (FBIS) of UNDIRA.
With a prayer session lead by Mr. Rahmat, S.Pd.I., M.M., the Lecturer Coordination Meeting was then commenced. Throughout its journey, UNDIRA has successfully achieved several awards, one of which is obtaining "Excellent" accreditation from BAN-PT (National Accreditation Board for Higher Education). According to UNDIRA's Rector, Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi, the realization of UNDIRA's success is supported by the hard work and cooperation of all parties to achieve true unity.
"This year we are all presented with an overall increase in new students reaching more than 1,000 participants, along with an increase in the number of graduates expected to reach 850. UNDIRA has achieved its best performance so far thanks to all our efforts from each respective field, including research and community service that have been implemented and contributed to advancing both society and our beloved university," he stated.
The Chairman of the Dian Asra Foundation, Mr. Sagoro Dharmawan, then conveyed several points regarding current developments in the education sector.
"We must think about how to shape the nation's driving force for the next 20 to 30 years. By understanding the problems and developments in the education world in accordance with our concerns," he said.
"Amid the uncertainty felt by society today, as well as declining emancipation toward the education world, as academics we must be more sensitive to change. UNDIRA is present to answer the challenges of the education world for lower-middle-class students, because education is the right of all nations," he stated.
UNDIRA's Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs, Mr. Ir. Margono Sugeng, M.Sc., revealed that UNDIRA has successfully produced a total of 357 research projects and 308 community service programs (PkM) over 5 years. From an external perspective, UNDIRA also produced 27 external research projects and 8 external community service programs. From these achievements, UNDIRA successfully obtained grants for Smart Classroom procurement that enables more interactive learning between students and faculty.
Additionally, UNDIRA has successfully developed several other academic support facilities such as a library that achieved A accreditation with more than 1 million E-Journals, Physics Laboratory, Computer Laboratory, Radio Studio along with Communication Studies Laboratory.
Moving forward, Mr. Margono emphasizes learning based on Outcome Based Education (OBE) as a strengthening of study methods focused on student achievement through the creation of final assignments in the form of papers or Community Service (PkM). He also emphasized that with the emphasis on Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL), this will become the academic heart, providing study outputs in accordance with the required relevance and good curriculum for the future of UNDIRA students.
With the implementation of the Faculty Coordination Meeting for Academic Year 2025/2026 and continued with systematic guidance by each Faculty and University Characteristic Courses (MKCU), it is hoped that UNDIRA will be able to strengthen the existing education system for students.
