Preparing Faculties to be The Very Best: LPM UNDIRA Encourages Quality Improvement in Study Programs

Jakarta, April 17, 2025 — In an effort to enhance the quality of study programs in each faculty at Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA), the Quality Assurance Institute (LPM), as the coordinator for quality assurance, held a coordination meeting to prepare for accreditation of four study programs under the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences (FBIS). The event was conducted in person at the sixth-floor hall of UNDIRA, Tanjung Duren Campus, West Jakarta.
The four study programs discussed in the coordination meeting included the Management Study Program, Accounting Study Program, Communication Studies Program, and English Literature Study Program. LPM UNDIRA specifically focused its attention on these programs because their accreditation validity will expire in 2026.
The meeting was attended by the Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs, Ir. Margono Sugeng, M.Sc., LPM Chairperson Sri Hesti, M.I.Kom., FBIS Dean Caturida Meiwanto, Ph.D., Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs, as well as faculty members responsible for preparing accreditation documents.
During his presentation, Vice Rector 1, Ir. Margono Sugeng, M.Sc., emphasized the importance of thorough preparation in facing the reaccreditation process. He stated that all study programs at UNDIRA have achieved accreditation ratings, but since accreditation has a validity period, it requires collective attention.
"Alhamdulillah, all study programs have obtained accreditation ratings. However, as we all know, accreditation has a validity period, so we must begin preparing for the reaccreditation process within the designated timeframe," he asserted.
Furthermore, he reminded attendees that reaccreditation is also an opportunity to evaluate and strengthen institutional commitment to education quality, encouraging the entire team to meticulously prepare accreditation documents and instruments.
Meanwhile, LPM UNDIRA Chairperson Sri Hesti, M.I.Kom., in her remarks, conveyed that the reaccreditation process should be seen as a momentum to provide the best services to students.
"Accreditation is a reflection of the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) in our commitment to delivering the best for UNDIRA students," she stated.
She further emphasized that accreditation should be regarded as an institutional reflection—evaluating how study programs have carried out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, and ensuring that Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) is maintained to establish excellent and competitive study programs.
During the event, the LPM Chairperson also outlined the workflow of the accreditation team, the necessary instruments each study program must prepare, and the technical support LPM will provide throughout the reaccreditation process.
Through this coordination meeting, it is expected that teams from each study program can promptly prepare the required instruments, enabling study programs to achieve optimal accreditation results. This effort aims to elevate educational standards, ultimately producing high-quality graduates.
