UNDIRA Achieves 'Excellent' Rating in BAN-PT Accreditation Assessment, Demonstrating Commitment to Quality Education

Jakarta, December 11, 2024 – By the grace of Almighty God, with profound gratitude and pride, based on the Decree of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) Number 2189/SK/BAN-PT/Ak/PT/XII/2024 regarding the Accreditation of Dian Nusantara University (UNDIRA) as determined by BAN-PT, UNDIRA has successfully achieved the accreditation status of "Very Good". This accomplishment has undoubtedly left a positive impression on the academic community of Dian Nusantara University.
The Higher Education Accreditation Field Assessment (AL APT) was conducted from December 1-3, 2024, at Universitas Dian Nusantara’s Tanjung Duren Campus, West Jakarta. BAN-PT carried out an on-site evaluation, with the assessment team comprising three esteemed professors: Prof. Dr. Ir. I Made Londen Batan, M.Eng. from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November, Prof. Dr. Indra Maipita, S.Pd., M.Si., Ph.D. from Universitas Negeri Medan, and Prof. Dr. Ni Luh Nyoman Seri Malini, SS., M.Hum. from Universitas Udayana.
The accreditation process was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi, who welcomed the BAN-PT assessment team and expressed his gratitude to the entire UNDIRA community for their dedication and accomplishments. He also commended all parties involved for their optimal contributions during the accreditation process. Prof. Suharyadi reaffirmed UNDIRA’s commitment to continuously enhancing the quality of its education and expressed his hopes for the university to achieve greater progress in the future, maintaining excellence in delivering the best education.
In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Made Londen Batan, M.Eng., emphasized that the accreditation evaluation would be conducted in accordance with existing regulations and that the final score would be an accumulation of the individual assessments by each evaluator. He highlighted the importance of honesty and objectivity in carrying out the accreditation process.
The field assessment involved document verification and data evaluation in line with accreditation criteria. A series of discussions were held with UNDIRA’s leadership, including the Rector, Vice Rectors, the Chairperson of the Dian Asra Foundation, and faculty deans such as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics and the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences. Additional discussions were conducted with representatives from the Internal Quality Assurance Center, lecturers, students, alumni, administrative staff, and institutional partners.
The assessors also reviewed the university’s educational facilities, including laboratories and infrastructure at the Tanjung Duren and Greenville campuses. The field assessment concluded with the assessors presenting preliminary findings, signing the minutes of the meeting, and an official closing by the Rector of UNDIRA.
UNDIRA’s successful accreditation process, from application submission to the completion of the field assessment (AL APT), and its achievement of a satisfying accreditation result is a testament to the university’s continuous efforts to grow and establish itself as a quality educational institution. This accomplishment underscores UNDIRA’s commitment to producing globally competitive graduates and contributing to a better future. The university remains steadfast in its vision to uphold integrity and professionalism, aligned with the core values of Universitas Dian Nusantara.
