Jakarta, October 30, 2024 – A cooperation agreement between Politeknik Kreatif Indonesia (ESMOD Jakarta) and Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA) was signed, covering education, research, community service, and public relations. The event took place at ESMOD Jakarta, located in Cipete, South Jakarta.

The event began with an opening address from Didik Setiyadi, M.Kom., MM., Director II of ESMOD Jakarta, followed by remarks from Dr. Ir. Muhammad Hasanuddin Thoyieb, MM., Vice Rector III for Collaboration at UNDIRA. The signing marks the initial step in the collaboration between ESMOD Jakarta and UNDIRA, celebrated with a sharing session conducted by UNDIRA’s Public Relations and Publication Bureau for ESMOD Jakarta’s Marketing Communication team.

During this session, UNDIRA's Public Relations and Publication Bureau shared insights from their achievements in the 2024 Higher Education Monitoring and Evaluation (MONEV) conducted by LLDIKTI Region III, where UNDIRA achieved outstanding results. Kornelia Johana Dacosta, M.IKom., Head of UNDIRA’s Public Relations & Publication Bureau, emphasized the importance of public relations in providing information and educational content to students and the public, shaping the university's image and supporting the university’s Tri Dharma (Three Pillars of Higher Education) mission.

UNDIRA’s Public Relations & Publication Bureau also introduced their experienced team members who played key roles in achieving top scores in the 2024 MONEV PT. This team included Sekar Ayu Putri S., S.I.Kom. (Public Relations and Protocol), Andhika Iswardana, S.Ds. (Social Media Specialist), and Danang Respati Wicaksono, S.Li (Copywriter).

Vice Rector III UNDIRA Dr. Ir. Muhammad Hasanuddin Thoyieb, MM, closed the sharing session by expressing hope that this knowledge exchange would provide long-term benefits and serve as a platform for mutual learning between UNDIRA and ESMOD.

The event was attended not only by ESMOD Jakarta’s Marketing and Communication Division but also by other departments, who warmly welcomed the UNDIRA team.

For additional context, ESMOD is a renowned institution in fashion design and education, initially founded in Paris by Alexis Lavigne in 1841. It was established in Indonesia in 1996 through a partnership between ESMOD Paris and local stakeholders, reinforcing world-class fashion education in Indonesia. Known locally as Politeknik Kreatif Indonesia, ESMOD offers two main programs: Fashion Design and Creation, and Fashion Business, making it the first institution in Jakarta to incorporate French-based fashion education techniques.

This initiative aims to strengthen university governance and build positive images for both ESMOD Jakarta and UNDIRA. The collaboration is expected to be a valuable platform for knowledge exchange that benefits both institutions.
