UNDIRA’s LRPM Participates in the 2026 Community-Based Empowerment Scheme Monitoring and Evaluation
Jakarta, October 1, 2026 — The Research and Community Service Institute (LRPM) of Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA) participated in the 2026 Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of the Community Service Program (PkM) under the Community-Based Empowerment Scheme. The activity was held online via Zoom Meeting on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, starting at 8:00 a.m. Western Indonesia Time (WIB) until completion, organized by the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM).

The Monev is part of the monitoring process for the implementation of Community Service programs. It aims to assess the progress of activities, program achievements, alignment between implementation and the approved proposal, as well as the outputs produced by the implementing teams.
One of the recipients of the 2026 Community-Based Empowerment Scheme is a program entitled “Economic and Food Resilience and Stunting Prevention through the Conversion of Leaf Waste into Organic Fertilizer in North Meruya.” The program addresses several key issues, including organic waste management, community economic and food resilience, and efforts to support stunting prevention by turning leaf waste into organic fertilizer.
The PkM team is led by Mr. Lutfi Alhazami, S.E., M.M., from the Management Study Program, with Mr. Ir. Margono Sugeng, M.Sc., from the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, and Ms. Wenny Desty Febrian, S.E., M.M., from the Management Study Program, serving as members of the proposing team. The program also involves students as part of the learning and community service process. The participating students are Siaw Siau Sie and Vina, both from the Management Study Program. In carrying out the program, the team collaborates with Democare Community as its community partner in the North Meruya area.
Through this program, the implementing team seeks to encourage the community to make use of locally generated leaf waste by processing it into organic fertilizer with practical and economic value. The utilization of organic waste is expected to support better environmental management while also strengthening community empowerment.
During the Monev, the implementing team presented the progress of the activities, achievements to date, and various program outputs to the evaluation team. The evaluation process plays an important role in ensuring that the PkM activities remain aligned with the established targets, while also providing an opportunity for the team to communicate the program’s progress, challenges, and follow-up plans.
Universitas Dian Nusantara, through its Research and Community Service Institute (LRPM), continues to encourage research and community service activities that are relevant to community needs and create tangible benefits for the surrounding environment.
The participation of UNDIRA’s PkM team in the 2026 Monitoring and Evaluation of the Community-Based Empowerment Scheme reflects the university’s commitment to strengthening the contribution of higher education through collaborative, sustainable, and community-oriented service initiatives.
Through continued synergy among lecturers, students, and community partners, UNDIRA hopes to develop community service programs that not only provide solutions to challenges faced by communities, but also foster innovation and promote the sustainable management of local resources.
