Jakarta, September 9, 2026 — Following the enthusiasm and excitement that marked the first day of Hello Campus at Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA), the second day of the program continued with the same vibrant spirit among the participants. On this occasion, UNDIRA collaborated with the Kodam III Siliwangi of the Indonesian Army (TNI AD), the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDikti), and the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) to equip new students with character development and a strong understanding of national values, civic responsibility, and integrity from the very beginning of their university journey.

Opening the second day of the program, Head of the UNDIRA Bureau of Public Relations and Publications and moderator for the national values and character education session, Kornelia Johana Dacosta, M.I.Kom., emphasized that academic excellence is not measured solely by intellectual ability. It is equally reflected in students' integrity and their willingness to contribute to positive change in society and the nation.

Representing the Indonesian Army at the second day of Hello Campus, Captain Caj. Hendro Saputra, S.T., alongside Serka Pandu Pratama, Sertu (K) Nadya Aprilia Elisya, Serda (K) Nilam, and Serda Nathaniel Abimanyu, delivered a series of sessions highlighting national and civic values.

“As the younger generation, the future of our nation is in your hands. Why should university students care about national values? Because you are future leaders and mentors who have the potential to guide our beloved Nusantara toward a brighter future. To reach that point, you need the knowledge and broader perspectives that you gain throughout your university years,” said Captain Caj. Hendro Saputra.

He continued, “It is also important to understand that becoming a valuable and contributing student is not simply about intellectual ability. It also requires wisdom, so that you can respond professionally to changing paradigms in information, society, and the dynamics of the world around you, both academically and beyond the classroom.”

Building on Captain Hendro Saputra's presentation, Serka Pandu Pratama added that a strong nation is built not only through the unity of its state apparatus, but also through the aspirations and support of all elements of society. Equipped with critical thinking skills and a strong sense of conscience, students are expected to become a resilient generation capable of contributing to the nation while competing on a global level.

Continuing the discussion on national resilience and regeneration, Dian Rusdiana, S.Pd., M.Pd., Head of the Learning and Student Affairs Team at LLDikti Region III Jakarta, presented an overview of LLDikti's role within Indonesia's higher education system. She explained that, as an institution responsible for overseeing the implementation of higher education, LLDikti plays an important role in improving the quality and effectiveness of higher education services.

LLDikti also contributes to maintaining and facilitating the continuous development of the quality of the academic community. Guided by Law No. 12 of 2012 and the principles of the Tridharma of Higher Education — education, research, and community service — students are encouraged not only to become proficient in their respective fields, but also to produce meaningful work that creates a positive impact on society.

Firman Maulana, S.E., Senior Cybersecurity and Government Information Security Specialist at the Directorate of Cybersecurity and Information Security for Human Development, emphasized that alongside collective awareness, resilience, and security in the digital era, students must also remain alert to the challenges emerging from technological developments, particularly artificial intelligence (AI).

“AI certainly provides a number of conveniences and benefits for students, but we must also be able to curate, evaluate, and take responsibility for the work we produce with the assistance of AI. At the same time, you are encouraged to follow academic standards, develop critical thinking, and build adequate information and digital literacy. Most importantly, you should avoid academic dishonesty when using AI. Be a Generation Z that is AI-literate and upholds integrity,” he said.

As Hello Campus 2026 entered its final segment, the program continued with presentations from the Head of the UNDIRA Career and Alumni Bureau and the Head of the UNDIRA English Center (UEC). The event also featured introductions to the various study programs at UNDIRA, presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics (FTI), Dr. Arie Pangesti Aji, Ph.D., and the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences (FBIS), Dr. Harjono Padmono Putro, S.T., M.Kom.

Concluding the second day of Hello Campus, UNDIRA Vice Rector III for Public Relations, Partnerships, Student Affairs, and Marketing, Ir. Muhammad Hasanuddin Thoyieb, M.M., emphasized that Hello Campus is more than simply a ceremonial event. It marks the beginning of a meaningful bond among members of the entire UNDIRA academic community.

He further explained that university life may become increasingly challenging along the way. However, just as a journey ultimately leads us toward a destination, a university education pursued with dedication and wholehearted commitment will, God willing, shape students into knowledgeable and capable individuals who are devoted to those around them, resilient in facing challenges, and prepared to build a future guided by UNDIRA's VIP values: Visionary, Integrity, and Professionalism.
