Jakarta, September 8, 2026 — Quality research, impactful publications. This perspective has long been part of the academic ethos, reflecting the understanding that knowledge is not merely about gaining insight, but also about making meaningful contributions to the communities around us. As part of this commitment, the Institute for Research and Community Service at Universitas Dian Nusantara (LRPM UNDIRA) conducted a Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) session for the 2026 Research Grants awarded by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek).

Held online via Google Meet on September 4, 2026, the activity was met with great enthusiasm by the participating lecturers and the team of reviewers. According to LRPM UNDIRA, the Monev aimed to assess the progress of research projects undertaken by grant recipients and ensure that their implementation remains aligned with the established work plans, research outputs, and deadlines stipulated under the grant funding requirements. The evaluation process was also intended to provide constructive feedback to help improve both the quality of the research implementation and its expected outputs.

A total of eight research teams from various study programs at UNDIRA were awarded Kemdiktisaintek Research Grants for the 2026 fiscal year. The recipients and their respective research topics are as follows:

1. Rafi'i from the Communication Studies Program, together with his research team, with the title “Development of an Ecological and Cultural Communication Model to Strengthen the Welfare Infrastructure of the Kasepuhan Ciptagelar Indigenous Community in West Java.”

2. Ika Puji Saputri from the Management Study Program, together with her research team, with the title “Factors Influencing Healthy Food Consumption Behavior among Indonesian Gen Z: The Role of Food Literacy and Nutritional Knowledge.”

3. Wenny Desty Febrian from the Management Study Program, together with her research team, with the title “Sustainability Strategies for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Based on Green Human Resources to Support the People’s Economy.”

4. Anita Ratnasari from the Informatics Engineering Study Program, together with her research team, with the title “Transforming the Utilization of Text-Based Educational Feedback through CNN–BiLSTM and Transformer (BERT).”

5. Hadiguna Setiawan from the Informatics Engineering Study Program, together with his research team, with the title “Text-Based Food Safety Monitoring System Using a Modifier-Negation Classifier and Bidirectional LSTM.”

6. Sri Anjarwati from the Accounting Engineering Study Program, together with her research team, with the title “Shielding Digital Financial Literacy: The Impact of Perceived Ease of Use and Usefulness of BNPL on Consumptive Debt among Millennials and Gen Z.”

7. Arie Pangesti Aji from the Civil Engineering Study Program, together with his research team, with the title “Optimization of Phase Control in Beam Steering Technology for Phased Array Antennas at C-Band Frequencies.”

8. Muhammad Patria from the Informatics Engineering Study Program, together with his research team, with the title “Designing a User Interface for a Sustainable Urban Infrastructure Reporting Application Using a User-Centered Design Approach.”

The diversity of research topics reflects the continued contribution of UNDIRA lecturers to interdisciplinary research. These studies address relevant issues while also supporting efforts to promote sustainability and improve community welfare, in line with the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

To maintain the objectivity and quality of the evaluation process, the Monev also involved reviewers from several higher education institutions. They included Prof. Dr. Tuti Widiastuti, M.Si. from Universitas Gunadarma; Dr. Muhammad Ekhsan from Universitas Pelita Bangsa; Dr. Handrie Noprisson, S.T., M.Kom. from Universitas Dian Nusantara; Dr. Mujiono Sadikin, MT., CISA, CGEIT from Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya; Dr. Yudhi Herliansyah from Universitas Mercu Buana; and Dr. Ir. Robby Kurniawan Harahap, S.Kom., MT. from Universitas Gunadarma.

The Director of LRPM UNDIRA, Dr. Kup Yanto Setiono, M.A., and the Head of the LRPM Bureau, Dr. Erfiana Wahyuningsih, S.T., M.T., who attended the Monev session, emphasized that conducting monitoring and evaluation consistently is expected to foster a productive, accountable, and outcome-oriented research culture while encouraging research that generates sustainable impact.

The Monev activity was also designed to serve a broader academic purpose beyond administrative and substantive evaluation. It provided a space for researchers to engage in academic discussions, receive valuable input from reviewers, identify challenges encountered during the research process, and formulate appropriate follow-up strategies to ensure that their research targets can be achieved.
