UNDIRA Pencak Silat Athletes Conquer the Arena and Bring Home Championship Titles
Jakarta, June 3rd, 2026 — “Vestigia nulla retrorsum” — there is no turning back, and every step forward is taken with confidence. This has long been the guiding motto of the athletes of Dian Nusantara University (UNDIRA). Through unwavering dedication and determination, the UNDIRA Pencak Silat Student Activity Unit once again brought pride to the university by achieving remarkable success at the IPB National Inter-University Pencak Silat Championship, held from May 29 to 31, 2026.
For this prestigious competition, UNDIRA fielded seven of its finest representatives from the Pencak Silat Student Activity Unit to compete for championship titles. Their hard work, perseverance, and fighting spirit paid off spectacularly, as the UNDIRA contingent secured three gold medals, three silver medals, and one bronze medal. The achievements are detailed as follows:

Muhammad Rifky Noviansyah, a Communication Science student, won 1st Place in the Men’s Class E Adult Sparring Category.

M. Mauludin Sahroni, a Civil Engineering student, won 1st Place in the Men’s Class E Adult Sparring Category.

Nabil Cahya Pangestu Jati, an Informatics Engineering student, won 1st Place in the Men’s Class A Adult Sparring Category.

Chici Yuliansi, a Communication Science student, won 3rd Place in the Women’s Class C Adult Achievement Sparring Category.

Moh. Sholeh, an Accounting student, won 2nd Place in the Men’s Class H Achievement Category.

Muhammad Ramzi, a Management student, won 2nd Place in the Men’s Class I Adult Achievement Sparring Category.

Rizal Al Khair, a Management student, won 2nd Place in the Men’s Single Artistic Performance Category.
In a post-tournament interview following the IPB Championship, one of UNDIRA’s representatives, Nabil Cahya Pangestu Jati, expressed immense pride in his achievement. He shared that earning a medal at a national-level competition was an extraordinary experience and served as proof that every sacrifice, drop of sweat, and disciplined training session had ultimately led to a rewarding outcome.
“When I succeeded in winning the gold medal, I felt incredibly proud, of course. In the end, all the training and dedication I put in every day were not in vain and did not disappoint,” said Cahya.
The outstanding success of the UNDIRA Pencak Silat contingent once again demonstrates that Dian Nusantara University is home to talented individuals who are ready to compete and excel on the national stage. This achievement is the result of not only the athletes’ hard work, but also the guidance of their coaches and the unwavering support and prayers of the entire academic community.
