Strengthening the Path Toward Excellence: UNDIRA Emphasizes Quality Improvement in the Faculty Coordination Meeting for the 2025/2026 Academic Year
Jakarta, March 6, 2026 — In an effort to strengthen the quality of teaching and academic activities, Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA) successfully held the Faculty Coordination Meeting for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year on March 5th 2026. The meeting was enthusiastically attended by 92 participants who joined both in person at the Tanjung Duren Campus in West Jakarta and virtually via Google Meet.
Present at the Faculty Coordination Meeting for the 2025/2026 Academic Year were Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi, Rector of Universitas Dian Nusantara; Ir. Margono Sugeng, M.Sc., Vice Rector I of UNDIRA; Dwi Sapto Febriantaka, MA., Vice Rector II; and Prof. Ir. Asri Nugrahanti, M.S., Ph.D., IPU, ASEAN Eng., Vice Rector IV, along with the university’s deans, heads of study programs, and faculty members.
Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi, Rector of Universitas Dian Nusantara, stated that the event represents the realization of UNDIRA’s commitment to maintaining the quality of its education as the university enters the upcoming even semester.
He further emphasized that over the past six years, UNDIRA has achieved numerous remarkable accomplishments. Nevertheless, the university must continue to enhance the quality of its education and services through comprehensive development, both in terms of facilities and infrastructure as well as the competencies of its teaching staff.
“UNDIRA is always committed to improving both services and teaching for our students. In line with this commitment, consistent improvements are necessary in order to achieve the excellence we aspire to,” said Prof. Suharyadi.

“In addition to developing facilities and infrastructure that support learning activities, lecturers are also encouraged to engage in research and community service so that they are not only able to keep pace with the changing times but can also consistently enrich their course materials. I hope that all lecturers will implement an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach so that the learning process can be conducted in a disciplined, innovative, and transparent manner, ultimately producing objective Course Learning Outcomes (CPL),” he added.
Ir. Margono Sugeng, M.Sc., Vice Rector I, further explained that the coordination meeting is not merely a formality but an integral part of strengthening UNDIRA’s educational processes in order to provide the best and highest-quality education for its students.
“This coordination meeting serves as a comprehensive evaluation in preparation for the lectures of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. To date, UNDIRA has recorded a total of 357 research projects and 308 community service programs (PkM). The competencies of our lecturers have also shown significant progress, with 26% of the faculty currently pursuing postdoctoral studies and doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees. This demonstrates that UNDIRA is a higher education institution with strong value, as well as a trusted and globally oriented university capable of producing graduates who are well-prepared to meet the demands of the industry by 2030,” said Mr. Margono.
“This is also in line with the three core values entrusted by UNDIRA’s founders, namely Visionary, Integrity, and Professionalism. It is hoped that these values, along with the milestones we have achieved, will continue to motivate both our academic and non-academic activities so that they may generate meaningful impact for students and society,” he continued.
In closing the coordination meeting, he emphasized that the numerous achievements, dedication to national and international research, and community service initiatives that have been carried out should not merely stand as records of success. More importantly, these efforts are expected to lead to constructive evaluations that will strengthen UNDIRA’s overall performance and guide the institution toward even greater accomplishments in the future.
