Jakarta, July 24, 2025 — A competency certificate has become an essential document in validating one’s skills, especially for university students preparing to enter the workforce. Generally, certification can be obtained through competency assessments conducted by certification bodies within universities or by independent state institutions such as the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP).

Recognizing the importance of certification in enhancing graduate competitiveness, Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA), through its Professional Certification Body (LSP UNDIRA), officially launched its First-Party Professional Certification Body (LSP 1 UNDIRA) on July 22, 2025.

The inauguration of LSP 1 UNDIRA received full support from UNDIRA’s Rector, Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi, who was present alongside the university’s top leadership, including the Vice Rectors and the LSP UNDIRA management team: Mr. Eriklex Donald Sahusilawane (Chairman), Mr. Lutfi Alhazami (Head of Certification Division), and Mr. Izmirta Rachman (Head of Quality Assurance Division).

In his remarks, Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi emphasized the crucial role that competency certification plays in preparing students to face the challenges of an increasingly competitive job market.

“Through certification, students are not only equipped with academic knowledge but also gain professional recognition in their respective fields. A certificate serves as tangible proof of their readiness to enter a dynamic and ever-evolving workforce,” he stated.

Echoing this sentiment, LSP UNDIRA Chairman, Mr. Eriklex Donald Sahusilawane, reaffirmed the institution's commitment to supporting students in obtaining relevant and industry-recognized certifications.

“LSP UNDIRA will continue to provide standardized competency assessments to ensure that students possess solid, written proof of the skills they’ve developed throughout their academic journey,” he explained.

The event concluded with a symbolic handover of the LSP 1 UNDIRA license certificate from Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi to the LSP representatives, marking the beginning of a significant step toward enhancing the quality and competitiveness of UNDIRA graduates.
