Jakarta, July 22, 2025 — The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology officially inaugurated new leaders, including heads of state universities, high-ranking officials, and functional officials within the Ministry. Among those appointed was the Head of the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDikti) Region III. Dr. Henri Togar Hasiholan Tambunan, S.E., M.A., has officially assumed the position as the definitive Head of LLDikti Region III.

The inauguration ceremony was led directly by the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Brian Yulianto, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D. In his remarks, the Minister shared a message of encouragement:

"I believe you will fulfill your duties to the best of your ability and with full responsibility. May Allah SWT, the Almighty God, guide and bless us all,” said Prof. Brian Yulianto.

Dr. Henri Togar Hasiholan Tambunan, S.E., M.A., succeeded Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin, S.Si., M.Sc., who previously held the position. The appointment of a definitive Head for LLDikti Region III was warmly welcomed, as it brings renewed clarity and leadership to the institution.

“On behalf of all LLDikti Region III staff, we extend our congratulations to Dr. Henri Togar Hasiholan Tambunan, S.E., M.A., on his appointment as Head of LLDikti Region III. We hope he will lead LLDikti Region III toward even greater transformation in terms of service and quality. We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin, S.Si., M.Sc., for his service and dedication during his tenure,” said Mr. Tri Munanto, S.E., M.Ak., Head of General Affairs at LLDikti Region III.

Currently under the leadership of Dr. Henri Togar Hasiholan Tambunan, S.E., M.A., LLDikti Region III oversees 246 private higher education institutions, 26,000 lecturers, and more than 650,000 active students, as reported through PDDIKTI. This new appointment carries great expectations for improved services to private universities and broader stakeholders within the Region III network.
