Tuesday, March 18, 2025 – United we stand, divided we fall. Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA) once again held the "UNDIRA Blessings Sharing" event at its Tanjung Duren Campus in West Jakarta. This event not only reflects UNDIRA's concern for the surrounding community but also serves as a moment of gathering and camaraderie between the UNDIRA academic community and local residents during this blessed month.

The event was attended by the Rector of Universitas Dian Nusantara, Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi; the Chairman of the Dian Asra Foundation, Mr. Sagoro Dharmawan; Vice Rectors of UNDIRA; and a host of staff and faculty members of the university.

To strengthen bonds, UNDIRA also invited several local institutions from Tanjung Duren and Greenville, including representatives from Danramil 05 Kebon Jeruk, Kebon Jeruk Police Precinct, Grogol Petamburan Subdistrict, the heads of RW 005 Tanjung Duren and RW 004 Duri Kepa, the head of RT 006 Duri Kepa, and a special guest speaker, Ustadz Jalaluddin Akbar, who delivered a spiritual sermon.

Highlighting the theme of unity and blessings, the event was also attended by the Chairman of the Orphan and Poor Foundation of South Tanjung Duren, Ustadz Aseli, along with 63 participants comprising orphans and underprivileged children accompanied by their guardians.

In the opening segment, the Rector of UNDIRA, Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi, expressed gratitude for the health granted to all attendees, enabling them to participate in the Blessings Sharing event once again.

"UNDIRA Blessings Sharing has been held since 2021, the year of UNDIRA's founding. Initially constrained by COVID-19 restrictions, not everyone could gather and connect. However, over time, we are once again brought together in health and prosperity," shared Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi.

It is hoped that this event will bring blessings to all participants and guide UNDIRA towards a thriving future.

Echoing the Rector's sentiments, Mayor Arh. Wahyu Suko Sasongko expressed deep gratitude for UNDIRA's commitment to supporting the local community over the past five years through the Blessings Sharing event.

On behalf of the participants, Ustadz Aseli also conveyed his appreciation to all parties involved, while expressing hope that orphans and underprivileged children will have the opportunity to pursue a quality education.

Through the spirit of sharing and togetherness, the UNDIRA academic community distributed charitable packages to orphans and underprivileged children, led by Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi, Mr. Sagoro Dharmawan, and the Vice Rectors of UNDIRA.

The spiritual aspect of the event was enhanced by a sermon from Ustadz Jalaluddin Akbar, addressing concerns of today's youth, particularly excessive worries.

He highlighted that humans are often haunted by shadows of the past and fears of the future, which, if left unchecked, can adversely affect physical health. Islam teaches that in the darkness (Zuluman) of such uncertainties, humans should do their best and leave the results to Allah SWT.

He emphasized that by practicing gratitude, individuals can lead a life of calmness, free from excessive worry about the past or future. Grateful people know how to utilize the blessings given by Allah SWT and follow the path of life intended for them.

As the Maghrib call to prayer marked the end of the event, the 2025 UNDIRA Blessings Sharing concluded. Through this annual activity, Universitas Dian Nusantara continues to demonstrate its dedication not only in academics but also in fostering solidarity and social care. Together, people can create meaningful and positive change for their surroundings.
