Looking at Success Stories: A Reflection on UNDIRA’s Past Graduation Towards the Future

Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA) will hold its 2nd Commencement Ceremony on October 19, 2024, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, Tangerang, West Java. This event coincides with the 5th Anniversary of UNDIRA and will be attended by around 650 students from various programs. This moment serves as a perfect time for graduates to reflect on the long journey they have undertaken, both in their academic lives and personal development at UNDIRA.
During their studies at UNDIRA, the students have faced numerous challenges and achieved many milestones. As they approach the conclusion of this chapter in their education, it is worth taking a moment to look back and reflect on all the efforts, hard work, and experiences that have shaped them into who they are today.
In just four years, UNDIRA has experienced rapid growth, now boasting over 6,000 students spread across three campuses: Tanjung Duren, Green Ville, and Cibubur. However, the journey toward graduation was not always smooth. The COVID-19 pandemic that struck in 2020 posed a significant challenge to all sectors, including education. Nevertheless, UNDIRA managed to rise above the crisis, demonstrating resilience in the face of adversity.
After the pandemic, UNDIRA continued to innovate and grow, proving its commitment to becoming a leading educational institution. With a vision to produce graduates who are Visionary, Full of Integrity, and Professional, UNDIRA is ready to meet the demands of the industry and entrepreneurship based on science and technology by 2030.
On December 9, 2023, UNDIRA successfully held its inaugural graduation ceremony at The Krakatau Grand Ballroom, TMII, East Jakarta, coinciding with its 4th Anniversary. On that occasion, 352 graduates were officially inaugurated by Prof. Dr. H. Suharyadi, marking a historic moment for UNDIRA.
Several UNDIRA graduates have demonstrated remarkable achievements, including Riki Aprianto, S.M., who served as a speaker in a Webinar organized by UNDIRA's Marketing Bureau titled "Your Future Is Not Determined by Where Your Campus Is." During his talk, Riki emphasized the importance of living by Visionary, Integrity, and Professional principles, which align with UNDIRA's values. He highlighted that character development is the key to future success.
UNDIRA’s 2nd Commencement Ceremony will take place in a different atmosphere and location, offering a more mature and meaningful experience. As the final chapter of their university journey, this graduation ceremony is expected not only to be a moment of pride for the graduates and their families but also the beginning of their contribution to the nation.
