Jakarta, July 14, 2026 – Excitement has once again swept across the Dian Nusantara University (UNDIRA) academic community following another remarkable achievement that has brought pride to the university. A member of the UNDIRA Karate Student Activity Unit (UKM Karate) delivered an outstanding performance amid fierce competition at the 2026 National KASAU Cup Karate Championship, held in Jakarta on July 12, 2026.

The 2026 KASAU Cup Karate Championship is a national-level competition featuring representatives from 16 provinces across Indonesia. M. Ridwan Jaelani, a student from UNDIRA's Management Study Program, earned a bronze medal after securing third place in the Men's Kumite 55 kg category. Reflecting on his achievement, Ridwan shared that reaching the podium was far from an easy journey.

With more than 106 contingents and approximately 1,800 athletes competing, the 2026 KASAU Cup was not only one of the country's most prestigious karate tournaments but also a true benchmark of a karateka's ability to compete at the national level.

Through disciplined training, consistent dedication, and guidance from his coaches, Ridwan proved that the hard work he invested alongside his academic responsibilities was well worth the effort. His achievement serves as a reminder that determination and perseverance are always rewarded with meaningful results.
