Research dissemination is the process of spreading and delivering research findings to various relevant parties, such as other researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and the general public. The goal of dissemination is to ensure that research findings can be widely used to influence policies, practices, and knowledge in specific fields.

In relation to this, the Research and Community Service Institution (LRPM) of Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA) presents a session for disseminating the best internal research from each study program for the 2023/2024 academic year. The event was held online via Google Meet on August 14, 2024, from 09:30 AM to 12:00 PM WIB. This dissemination event featured presentations from several researchers who shared their latest research findings. The research presented covered various fields. Additionally, the event provided a space for discussion between researchers and participants, aimed at enriching knowledge and encouraging further collaboration.

Among the presenters were Lestari, S.E., Ak., M.Ak., and Dr. Ari Purwanti from the Accounting study program; Dr. Ir. M. Hanafi, MBA., IPU, and Ari Apriani, S.E., M.M., from the Management program; Todo Sibuea, S.Pd., M.Hum., from the English Literature program; Alizar, M.T., from the Civil Engineering program; and Dr. Handrie N, S.T., M.Kom., from the Information Technology program. In addition to the lecturers who presented their research, the dissemination event was attended by 200 participants, including both lecturers and students.

The research dissemination was also attended by Ir. Margono Sugeng, M.Sc., Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs, Research, and Community Service at UNDIRA, who also opened the event. In his speech, he stated that research is a fundamental pillar in the development of science and innovation.

He also expressed his hope that through dissemination activities like this, research findings will not only result in scientific publications but also have a tangible impact on society, the industrial world, and government policies. Research that is relevant and up-to-date with specific discussions ensures that research results can be maximally communicated. Besides, the research publications will benefit the lecturers and support their performance at Universitas Dian Nusantara. Research fosters a sense of scholarship and ultimately enhances research emancipation among the entire academic community and students.

"As lecturers and academics, we all understand that the Tri Dharma of Higher Education serves as the main foundation in carrying out our duties responsibly. Therefore, today’s event is very important as part of our efforts to extend the reach and implementation of these research findings," said Ir. Margono Sugeng, M.Sc.

"We hope that this event can serve as a platform for all of us to share knowledge, experiences, and the latest findings in the fields of research we are involved in," he added. With the continuous development of innovation, meaningful progress is expected not only for academics but also for society, supporting the Tri Dharma of Higher Education program, which focuses on education for all parties.

Through this activity, it is hoped that the disseminated research findings can become a foundation for the development of innovations that provide real solutions to the various challenges faced by society today. UNDIRA is committed to continuously supporting research and dissemination activities, as well as encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration to realize tangible contributions to society.
