In order to implement Permendikbud Ristek Number 53 of 2023, BAN-PT conducted the Accreditation Acceleration Programme for Higher Education (APT) in 2024 by inviting 63 universities throughout Indonesia on Monday-Tuesday, 24-25 June 2024 at the Novotel Tangerang Hotel. This activity aims to accelerate the acquisition of APT and at the same time increase awareness of the need for accreditation in the framework of higher education quality assurance in a planned and sustainable manner.

In addition, in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Permendikbud Ristek) No 53 of 2023 regarding quality assurance of higher education, it is stated that study programmes and universities must have accredited status to graduate and then issue diplomas.

Dian Nusantara University (UNDIRA) welcomes this programme, because through this programme UNDIRA gets direct assistance and direction from BAN-PT assessors regarding the documents and requirements needed for university accreditation. Margono Sugeng, MSc, as the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs who is also the Chairperson of the LED and LKPT Compilation Team of Dian Nusantara University, accompanied by his team, attended the activity which was held for two days.

The APT Acceleration activity in its implementation is divided into several groups, with assistance from one facilitator for each group assigned by BAN-PT. The UNDIRA Accreditation Team, along with 7 other teams, was in group 2 accompanied by facilitator Prof. Dr. Adang Suhendra, Ing SSi., SKom., MSc. The series of accreditation assistance activities in document preparation by Prof. Dr. Adang Suhendra was closed with the accreditation form document upload process. In the upload process, all UNDIRA documents were successfully verified and accepted by BAN-PT.

Therefore, UNDIRA has now obtained a Decree of the Director of the Executive Board of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education Number 1235/SK/BAN-PT/AK.P/PT/VI/2024 Regarding Fulfilling the Requirements for Higher Education Accreditation Rating of Dian Nusantara University, West Jakarta City with a GOOD rating, as a result of participation in Higher Education Accreditation Acceleration activities.

By obtaining the Decree, UNDIRA is currently in preparation for waiting for the next process by BAN-PT, namely the Field Assessment (AL). UNDIRA, as a private university under the auspices of LLDikti Region III DKI Jakarta, continues to strive to improve quality. In fulfilling the quality standards in the university environment, UNDIRA hopes to get a EXCELLENT rating as the final result of a series of Institutional Accreditation processes.
